Epic Games and Microsoft have confirmed the release date for Gears of War 3. Thanks to AceyBongos' Twitter, I can say that Gears of War 3 is slated to release on September 20th, 2011 worldwide except in Japan, where it drops on September 22nd.

Lets just hope that Microsoft and Epic can keep this date and it doesn't get pushed back any further. Any other Jimmys looking forward to revving up their chainsaws to finish off the locust horde? What about Carmine's fate? Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!
