Kontrol Freek FPSFreek CQC Review

GoukiJones tests out Kontrol Freeks FPSFREEK CQC stick grips.

I downloaded Battlefield 3 close Quarters just to test out these Close Quarters Combat Kontrol Freeks.

The instructions manual is also a sticker on one side. I think that is a good idea. The instructions don't offer a great explanation on how to put them on, yes I know it's not that difficult to begin with. BUT doing two prongs toward the top of the stick and snapping down the third one works best.

Kontrol Freek did send me these for free to use and write about. You know I wouldn't be buying no add-ons like this Jimmy.

Battlefield 3's melee is the right bumper for me, so I didn't use it for actual CQC, but I was doing a lot of quick crouch walking and diving onto the floor and that all felt fine. The Kontrol Freeks raise up the thumb pads and the concave grip is comfortable. I like them and will probably leave them on my controller.

I hope to see in the future some more design options instead of just the KF logo. Perhaps even a way to upload my own designs and get some custom grips. Gouki logo Kontrol Freeks would be dope.

The original CQC's are now $9.99 on KontrolFreek.com and were $14.99. When these green ones are released you can expect a price of $14.99. At this particular stage in my life, I probably wouldn't pay for something like this. I've never considered these things before. But now that I've got a chance to try them out, I think they can be beneficial and would recommend you trying them out yourself.

Vote, Comment and Share. Don't be a Jimmy!

Verdict: Rent It
