Last week the very first Microsoft Store in Las Vegas opened up in the Fashion Show Mall. This week is the launch event for the Xbox One & Sugar Ray Leonard will be there this weekend to play you in ... Madden?

First up, the launch event.

To celebrate the launch of Xbox One, Microsoft retail stores are hosting midnight launch events in all stores across the country, including at the Las Vegas store in the Fashion Show Mall.

Starting at 10 p.m. on the evening of Nov. 21, local Microsoft retail stores will be giving away $5,000 in prizes to select lucky winners. Event attendees will have the opportunity to play the ultimate car fantasy and Xbox One exclusive title “Forza Motorsport 5.” Xbox Ones will go on sale at stores starting at 12:00 a.m. on November 22.

Can’t wait to check out Xbox One? Microsoft stores are also offering a chance to experience live gameplay on the new Xbox One between now and Nov. 22. Drop by your local store to be among the first to try the Xbox One exclusive title “Forza Motorsport 5,” and experience the improvements made to the best controllers in gaming.

Then you can come back on Saturday (if you can drag yourself away from your new console.) & play Sugar Ray Leonard.

On November 23, from 1-4 p.m. the Las Vegas Microsoft retail store is hosting the Xbox One Sports Star Challenge to see if local Las Vegans have what it takes to beat retired professional boxer Sugar Ray Leonard at his own game on the new Xbox One. Microsoft stores will be showcasing the latest Xbox One games and giving away prizes throughout the event. Guests can also meet Sugar Ray Leonard and pick up a signed autograph that day.

WHAT:

To celebrate the launch of the new Xbox One, Microsoft retail stores are hosting Xbox One Sports Star Challenges in 10 cities across the country, including the Las Vegas Microsoft Store. Guests are invited to stop by the Microsoft store to meet retired professional boxer Sugar Ray Leonard and picked up a signed autograph and may have an opportunity to challenge Sugar Ray Leonard to one of the latest Xbox One games now available. Prizes will be awarded during the event.
