Rocket Raccoon and the entire Guardians of the Galaxy to be featured in a new film from Marvel/Disney Studios.
Last year I mentioned the only reason characters like Thor and Ghost Rider made it into Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 in the first place, was Marvel was planning on doing something way more than just Marvel 3 with them. Thor is a huge success -also has an alleged infinite now- Ghost Rider had a new movie this year -it was alright, Nick Cage is dope- and now there is news of Rocket Raccoon finally getting his Hollywood debut.
DarkHorizons writes:
Bleeding Cool reports that Marvel has filed for eleven trademarks under the title, applying the name to a variety of international classes including "jewelery, beverages, furniture, cosmetics, computer games, fabrics, foods, paper goods, entertainment, internet services and even retail store services."
The original story centres on a group of aliens, the last surviving members of their kind, who journey to Earth to protect the planet from an upcoming invasion.
I'm really excited to see what they do with this.
It's a pretty creepy looking bunch if you ask me. (L to R): Deathycry, Captain Universe, Starlord, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Bug. Captain Universe ... lol.
So there you have it, that's the update. Marvel has copyrighted a bunch of furniture, cosmetics, and beverages for the Guardians of the Galaxy potential movie. ARE YOU HYPE? Vote, Comment and Share. Don't be a Jimmy!
