A collection of some tweets, comments and pictures from SBO 2012 Tougeki.

Let me know that I did not attend SBO, I didn't even watch it on stream. Was there a stream? I couldn't find one. Nothing on Twitch anyway. Usually stream links are being posted at talked about all week, all I heard was that there was a PPV stream. Unacceptable Jimmy!

This tournament was held outside and a lot of people were not happy with the weather and the glare from the sun on all of the cabinets. Look at this picture of Justin Wong after he won, sweatin' his balls off.

Congratulations to Justin!

Markman posted pictures on the Mad Catz Facebook page. The event looked nice from here.

Jebailey, a tournament organizer in Florida had this to say on Twitter:

"Having a video game tournament outdoors is like having a videogame tournament outdoors."

Kayane a top Soul Calibur player wrote this on Facebook:

"Another big problem for players : The sun is not only very hot, it makes glare on the screens since we’re playing outside!!!! Seriously, I have played on the Last Chance tournament screens to train a bit, and it was very hard to see. I heard some players even had to hide the sun with umbrella so that they could see the screen. Honestly it sounds stupid, but if you have to play tomorrow and that the weather is sunny like today, do it if you can.
Stick/Controller problem : Actually, I thought we could bring our own stick/controller to the tournament since it’s now in console (for SCV, UMVC3…), then I brought mine and I’ve heard just there we can’t play with our own stuff."

You can't even use your own stick? Wtf?

Ono san posted this image on Twitter.

Justin Wong dropped some Twitter bombs:

"I will never come to SBO ever again... There is glare on every cabinet while we were playing and the cabinets are lagging bad."

Got these qoutes from Eventhubs.

Eventhubs also has the final results if you're interested. SBO 2012 Results.

My final take, doesn't look like I missed anything. I don't think anybody was on top of their game. Other than Justin. Still no video of anything from what I can find. Sounds like a bust to me.
