Batman: Arkham City looks to be shaping up quite nicely for its' release later this year...but are Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. trying to sweeten the deals on pre-orders? Check 'em out within...
The gang's all here...
As we all know, "Batman: Arkham City" is more than ready to hold its' own this fall, but it seems Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. want to sweeten the deal and give the fans a little more service.
As the picture details, those are your DLC skins for the upcoming game, each representing a pivotal or important part of Batman lore(from left to right):
- Batman Beyond
- The Dark Knight Returns
- Earth One
- Classic
- The Animated Series
- Regular
Now, each of these skins had been rumored to be retail-exclusive, until Rocksteady came forward stating that they'll all be public DLC eventually.
Oh, it gets Sweeter!
Batman's not the only one getting a topical makeover:
Red Robin, Regular, Animated
Red Robin's set to be a Best Buy preorder incentive. It's currently unknown if Animated will be either Gamestop, Amazon, or Wal-Mart, though recent ramblings on the interwebs(or just amazon.de) point to Amazon to include him as a pre-order incentive...in Europe. No word yet on whether or not the U.S. will receive the same courtesy.
What do you think? If you didn't want the game before, would you consider it now, if only to play that "Batman: The Animated Series" beat em' up we should've gotten years ago?
I hope there's more to come...
...Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
Batman: Arkham Asylum drops from the shadows October 18th of this year for XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PCs. A Wii U version is also in the works for an unspecified date.
