It looks like DICE has confirmed that Battlefield 4 is getting a full reveal later this month. Check out the video.
DICE has sent via Twitter an interesting message containing a short clip talking about Battlefield 4.
"Straight from the video editing suite: Prepare 4 Battle - 03.27! This sneak peek now, more soon. (Please RT!... http://vine.co/v/bpeapQiWB3l"
The Battlefield 4 promo image was recently revealed and apparently Premium members will get to see the reveal video first and also receive a dog tag "I Was There"
What are your thoughts on Battlefield 4? Do you like or enjoy Battlefield 3? Are there any new features you want or hope to see in the reveal trailer? Tell us what you think in the comments. Don't be a Jimmy!
Where's the beef? Oh wait that's from the 80's you young Jimmy's don't have a clue about that. But you should get the gist of it. Beef = actual gameplay. There is none.
Ok maybe a little bit, but without a HUD for one. That was my first issue. Then you have a few cut away shots of the guys crawling on the floor or jumping down through a hole. Granted that could be actual gameplay, but to come out and say this is the Premiere Gameplay Trailer ... I find that to be a little misleading. The preview goes by so fast that you have to watch it a couple of times and try to figure out which parts EA is trying to say are actual gameplay clips. One clip of looking down the site and firing. That doesn't cound does it?
Don't get me wrong, Battlefield is my most favorite of the Earth war shooters and I'm totally looking forward to this new installment. Here's hoping we see something innovative and not just another rehash, reversionized, remake, redone, you get where I'm going with this right? Homefront looks like it's going to just be another Earth war shooter ala COD and/or Battlefield. At least Crysis is trying to do something different. And Brink I'm hoping will be in a class of it's own. Anyway check out the trailer below and let me know what you think of the "Premiere Gameplay."

Still no news of the fabled patch, but 3 new expansion packs were just announced the first of which lands this June. So get your trigger fingers ready!
The three new expansion packs are:
Battlefield 3: Close Quarters — In Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, players are dropped into a frantic, infantry-only theatre of war. Frostbite 2 high definition destruction makes the environment come alive as everything from furniture to plaster gets shot to pieces. Players will feel the intensity of the world exploding around them as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor, while tight level design and vertical gameplay create a highly competitive environment. Battlefield 3: Close Quarters also introduces new weapons, assignments and unique dog tags to bring back to the base game.
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill — Following the tight infantry gameplay of Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, DICE will release Battlefield 3: Armored Kill that ups the ante for vehicular mayhem as only Battlefield can do. Featuring new driveable tanks, ATVs, mobile artillery and more, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill also delivers huge battlefields for an all-out vehicle assault, including the biggest map in Battlefield history.
Battlefield 3: End Game — The fourth expansion pack will ship in the winter but details remain tightly guarded.
Close Quarters ships in June, while Armored Kill will ship sometime this fall. No word on when End Game will be released and still no word on when we'll get the patch to fix some of the bugs and balance issues that have been plaguing the multiplayer.
We should see the first gameplay videos from Close Quarters next week.
If you've got the Limited Edition, you'll be getting this when it comes in December. Otherwise you'll have to pay.
Description from the official youtube video:
This December, go back to the four most loved maps from Battlefield 2, boldly reimagined with enhanced destruction in the Frostbite 2 engine. In this trailer, witness the very first ingame shots from Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand. This expansion pack also features new weapons, vehicles, persistence, and the return of the classic Conquest Assault. Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is out December 2011 at no extra charge with your pre-order, or available the same date at $14.99/1200 Microsoft Points.

For the first time Halo is not on the top of my most anticipated shooter list. Battlefield 3 looks insane. Pre-order from Gouki.com today and get online to PWN with Team Gouki when the game is released.
Granted the new Halo is just a remake with some new Reach Multiplayer maps mixed in. It's not Halo 4. Although, I'm getting a little sick of it, plus Bungie is not making that could be another issue.
But Battlefield 3?! This shit right here, looks bananaz. Flying planes, shooting little robots, huge maps, tons of explosions, seeing the Jimmys face up close when you stab him in the GRILL! Can't wait for this game. Get hype, get on Team Gouki for this one Jimmy.
