Dead Space 2 has been released. Is it worth your money? Find out in the Gouki.com Review.
Dead Space 2 developed by Visceral Games and published by EA is a survival horror with a lot going for it. The original Dead Space was a great game, with monsters, creepy corridors, dark rooms, and a true sense of fear. Well Dead Space 2 is all of that and more. How does this 2 disc sequel stack up to its predecessor? Find out in our review below.
With an option to watch previously on Dead Space and find out what happened in the first game, the story in Dead Space 2 starts off slightly confusing. I’m sure that was the point as it’s been 3 years since the first game, and Isaac Clarke is now in a mental hospital strapped down in a strait jacket. Isaac is suffering from hallucinations from some illness and it’s making him see some crazy things, including images of his dead girlfriend Nicole. The last thing he can remember is what happened on the USG Ishimura. Isaac then escapes this hospital once Necromorphs break in. So it’s up to Isaac to survive the outbreak, find out what happened to him, and why these monsters have returned.Read full story...

EA released a new trailer. Showing a glimpse of the story and announcing something else the fans will enjoy
Check it out it's pretty good. Give us your thoughts and feelings below.
It's going to have multiplayer, but is it a cheap imitation?
So as you all know by now Deadspace 2 is going to have a multiplayer mode, but I'm a bit dissapointed in it. I don't think it looks bad at all. I'm actually looking forward to it, but I think it might end up being too much like Left 4 dead. My other concern is that they might spend too much time developing for the multiplayer and the campaign will be left a shadow in comparison to it's former counterpart. What do you guys think? Is the multiplayer a good addition or not?
The lowest prices on video games and accessories any hardcore gamer may want or need this holiday season. Game suggestions, the coolest collector editions, inexpensive accessories and pre-order gift ideas. Save money on video games this holiday season.
2010 Hardcore Gamer Holiday buyer's guide
I am a hardcore gamer. So I have put together a list of things that I would gladly accept or give away as a holiday gifts. Starting with some of my favorite games from this year. Also some games I haven't played, but my friends can't seem to stop talking about. You're going to find some of the best gift ideas below for somebody you know is a serious gamer. Just do a little research first and make sure they haven't played the games already.
Every gamer needs accessories, I could probably use a new controller. Mine makes funny noises in two different places. My wireless headsets are losing their charge times because I use them so much. If you don't have HDMI cables I got you covered. Also if you have a PS3, you know the controller charge cable is real short and you can get a universal USB extension cable that will work with your PS3 and Xbox 360. Perfect for keyboard extensions and stuuuuuf.
For the serious gamer that wanted the collector's edition, but didn't get it, I have a few suggestions there as well. You can always sell or trade-in that extra copy of the game. I just want the DLC, statues, booklets, soundtracks and goodies found in some collector's edition.
It's time to save money this holiday season and I hope my guide below saves you some money and time. Most of the options come with free shipping and that's great for the holidays, just make sure you don't wait until the last minute to order online. If there's something you think I missed or just want to make a suggestion, please leave a comment below. Thank you for reading. Now go start saving money!Read full story...

Dead Space 2 is a scray game. Allegedly, but I don't think so.
I'm not exciting about this game at all. I'm sorry, say what you will. Although I like the way it looks and the marketing is really unique for this game. Check out the Halloween Trailer. Nothing to it really. It looks cool. Just good old fashioned viral marketing. Is there a such thing as "good old fashioned viral marketing" already? You tell me.

The games looks cool and ask the guy that sat next to me about how scary it is.
This is survival horror game. I don't want to make an ass out of myself, but I assume every person sitting in the room watching the Dead Space 2 E3 2010 gameplay demo is aware that this is a survival horror game. The game starts out in space, a huge desolate space station or something. Anyway the space station has church and that's where the demo starts out. The guy walks around a couple of creepy corners, a few small things jump out and of course -- he destroys them. God mode heard. He can fire out some stasis blast that freezes the enemies where ever they are on screen. Only one enemy at a time though, because later on the developer freezes one enemy while another runs around him at full speed. While the enemy is frozen, he shoots off one of the spiky elbow blades from the enemy, grabs it in mid air with the stasis thingy and shoots it back at the enemy. This is a cool idea and it's a way to save ammo. Another gun that was shown was the javelin gun, same thing as the rail gun in Bioshock 2. The javelin gun will carry the enemies into a wall and pin them there. Cool again, but I've seen that before.
The developer slowly walks into the main room of the church, it's very quiet, it's very dark, he looks around cautiously and then a FRICKIN' HUGE MONSTER comes crashing throw the glass ceiling and ... The guy next to me in a suit and tie jumps out of seat and almost falls to the floor. I thought the man was going to shit his pants. I didn't move. I wanted to laugh at him, but I didn't. This Jimmy must never before been hads seen a survival horror game, because the entire time I was ready for the scare.
You can see a lot of what I describe in this video from EA.Read full story...
Check out my impressions of EA's keynote speech inside.
So Microsoft's keynote was pretty disappointing; we all know it's true. Unless you care about watching Kinect, there was very little that was interesting. So then came EA's keynote. Was it better than Microsoft? For the most part, yes.
EA opened up with a new remake of Hot Pursuit. I have to say it: I wasn't that much impressed by the demo. It's from Criterion, and it certainly looked like it; the game really did appear to have a Burnout feel to it. The graphics do look impressive, but I just can't get over the fact that the game looks more like a Burnout game than a Need for Speed game. EA boasted that the game was going back to the Need for Speed roots, but I just didn't see it in the demo.
