Call of Duty Black Ops VS Madden NFL 2011 why pay for them

Call of Duty is just like Madden now, every year one thing is different and you just have to pay the $60 don't you Jimmy?

What I want to say real quick is that the Call of Duty and the Madden series are getting a little ridiculous. Stop charging us full price for these games every year. I can't believe the world flipped out when Capcom said a new version of Street Fighter IV was coming out and it was only $40. People were pissed about that. I don't ever hear anything about Call of Duty or Madden coming out every year for full retail. $60 fuckin' dollars!

Why do you need that new Madden game so bad? Because the running back can twist now with a flick of the thumbstick.

Why do you need that new Call of Duty so bad? Because it has new maps? Or you can drive a remote control car up some other Jimmys ass.

Madden's roster could be updated via DLC. OR you can only charge us $40 maybe even $50 for it. We did just buy the same game last year, that the god damn gamestop won't even give us $10 for on trade. You can't even trade in Madden 2010 toward Madden 2011. Well you could, but that deal expired in March when you weren't even thinking about football. EA should step up and give back to the community that has supported this franchise for 20 years.

Call of Duty comes out every year now too, sometimes twice the same year. It's made by two different companies now. One just copies the others code and then repaints it. And BAUM! We got another $60 Call of Duty game to push out on the nubfarm. We'll buy it, hell I'm obligated. But this year, I'm boycotting this series bullshit. How much different is Call of Duty Black ops be from Modern Warfare or the World at War. Somebody had to tell that they were made by two different companies at first. I hate them both. Madden we know is not that different at all. The rosters in real life aren't that different, but we got a whole new Madden game.

Anyway fuck it. It's not fair to the gamers. Series games should be at a discount or I should get some kind of coupon or discount for continuing to buy every year.

Call of Duty gives you new maps/arenas. Madden usually involves new engines more then Call of Duty, so can kinda see why, BUT I only get the new Madden every couple years anyway. POINTLESS to get it every year in my opinion, but if you've got the disposable income, better to spend it on that ;)

Fuck yes man... This is some bullshit. This year's madden looks cool (Gus Fuckin' Johnson!) and I haven't bought one in 5 years, so I may get it. I'm done with the CoD however. That series is dead to me.

I would love Madden to be $40 every year, or have some sort of trade up/upgrade program.

Madden has become more stream lined but it keeps the complexity of the game. That's cool.
The CoD series might become like the Guitar Hero franchises. It'll get stale after a while.

The fact of the matter is, despite these "new maps/arenas" and new engine's for Madden, it is just not worth the $60 year after year. Look at Valve's Team fortress 2. Buy it once for $19 maybe even for less, and you get a high quality game that valve literally updates regularly, adding new maps, and new in-game mechanisms.

Two words for why they put out so many, easy money. They don't have t come up with anything new and they sell the shit out of them. To many Jimmy's are hooked on the yearly games for no reason. I'ld rather have one maybe to per console generation so you get some play out of them. Everytime a new FPS comes out everyone jumps to it. As far as Madden I don't think I've bought one in the last 10 years. I have bought the glitchy crash fest that is the nhl series, and returned it when you couldn't make it through a season without it freezing.
