Last weekend BatRastered and I had the pleasure of attending the Classic Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. This con is heavily supported by Gearbox Software & Disney. Also included is the CGE Gaming Museum, featuring the very first home console ever made in 1972.

The Classic Gaming Expo took place August 11-12, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. At the Plaza hotel, downtown on Fremont Street. Visit their website http://www.cgexpo.com/info.htm if you want more information. I want to talk about some of these pictures.

By far the sweetest picture I've taken in a while. Flame Retarded! Heard.

This was the first video game console I ever owned. It was super badass nice.

This game is the reason for 1 of my oldest memories. I remember my father getting so frustrated with this back in the day trying to beat it. Can't believe there is no remake. It had some killer music.

Vintage Fight Stick.

The first console ever made for the home? Look at those cartridges. WTF?

Enjoy these images of the Classic Gaming Expo. Definitely check it out if it comes to your town. The museum is amazing. If you're looking for any old games or want to buy a BRAND NEW NES or a factory sealed Super Mario Bros. 3, this is the place to be.

Those are some really great pics you have there, goukijones. I'm sure it was cool looking at and possibly playing some of these old school games.

Definitely like the bead sprites that were shown. I remembered making some with a couple of friends last year to sell off at MetroCon 2011. some of the ones I made before were Megaman, Ness, Mario, the Kanto region Pokemon Badges, and even two Scott Pilgrim.

I used to own an Atari Lynx, but never have I ever seen the red Marlboro variation.

TurboGraphix 16 Jacket: Awesome

I lol'd when I saw the Seaman can. that was awesome.
When I saw the image with a couple of imported TurboGraphix CD games, I was able to recognize Double Dragon II: the Revenge, Street Fighter II Championship Edition, as well as a Dreamcast import of Triggerheart Exelica.

I have that kind of fighter stick that you took a picture of(talking about the Fighter Stick SG-6), except it's for the SNES instead of the Genesis(Mine is the Fighter Stick SN). Awesome stick if I do say so myself.

Looking at those pictures made me really miss working at Gameswitch a retro gaming store.
