Remember the dude from the classic MK games that popped out and yelled "Toasty" after your character connected an uppercut? Well, he is Dan Forden from Netherrealm Studios (previously Midway) and he makes his epic return in Mortal Kombat 9!

this is TOO awesome i used to LOVE this guy in the old mk games.

i used to think he said whoopsee lol but the nostalgia  factor is big with this one ^_^

So what do you guys think?

Yeah I was playing the demo this morning and he popped up. I loved it. When I was a kid I thought he said whoopsie also. Perfect!

I always thought he said "whoopsie" too. But nontheless I loved when he would pop up, and I'm glad he's made a return. :D

My brother used to hate hearing it, as did most other people, but I always got a kick out of it. I wonder what made them decide to put it in.

You guys were to young to be playing Mortal Kombat. I bet none of you remember how awesome the Street Fighter The Movie arcade edition was.

Next time link your story to the catalog Jimmy.

I must admit I never played Street Fighter The Movie arcade edition, but I did use to play MK3 on my SNES all the time.

The Street Fighter The Movie Arcade was horrible. None of the Moves were the same, and Jean Claude Van Damn was Guile.... Now the Sega Saturn version where they added the moves from Street Fighter II was much better. They even added Akuma in that one.
