We're all waiting for the new consoles to be announced. Otherwise we're playing GTA V on PC. If we built another PC right now, it would be light years ahead of even these new next gen consoles. No problem running the GTA V. This new trailer is good BTW.
Let me clarify I did not finish GTA IV. It's possible I may try to continue my game sometime before V is released, but that probably will not happen. I'd rather play Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Halo, Battlefield, I can't imagine having to deal with that cell phone gameplay again.
I'll try out V for sure. Stock is owned in 2K & I'm always hoping to find that same joy in 1 of these new GTAs, that I found in Grand Theft Auto III. I think a lot of it had to do with GTA3 just being the first game that gave you such an insane sandbox of freedom. When the FBI showed up, I knew some shit was about to go down & it only got better from there.
Then there will be the whole PC VS Console battle. How much of this NEW GTA's capabilities will be capped just because it has to come out on XBOX 360 & PS3. Where is the Wii-U version without the guns? It will at least be in HD. Finally a GTA on a Nintendo hardware in HD. Forget that, that's not going to happen.
The trailer looks great. It's obviously a PC version. You can't just add a bunch of lens flares, bright lights, & smoke effects & say you're the best looking halerrrrr Xboerrrr home console game ever. So with that said, size, characters, & all sorts of technical stuff has to be limited when you have to consider stuff running on the Xbox or PS3 right now. These consoles can not handle what Cliffy B, Bungie, Randy Pitchford -or your favorite designer- can dream up right now. I can't wait for the next generation, it's going to be dead serious.
