review
Easily over 40 hours of gameplay. Tons of stuff to see & do. Amazing story (yes I watched most of it) & absolutely incredible animation & graphics. Oh & the combat is spot on as well!
Without a doubt Ni no Kuni is a blast! On my list as a top RPG all time favorite RPG’s. Up there with Final Fantasy XII, XI, Tactics & stuff like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Chrono Trigger. Hmmmm, I should just make a list of my favorite RPG’s. Anyway about Ni no, I had no idea about the game until after it was released. If it wasn’t for my friend Guano, I would have never played it. Everybody kept telling me it was like a Pokemon game. I had to see what this was about. 20 years ago I love Pokemon.
[Spoiler Alert]
So this video is from late in the game. It’s a good example how the game puts you into position where you have to battle your way out to save your life. Well at least save the last 2 hours of gameplay you just had. ‘Cause if you die … you gotta ask yourself? Where, when, did I save last? Look once you get the saving down & remember to do it your good. You gotta use the Inn’s in town. First of all once you stay there once, you get a map & sometimes some other goodies. Second, it’s really the only place I found to restore your health & magic for a reasonable price. Inn’s range from 10g a night up to over 300g a night. Once you get the dragon, just fly to the cheap place if you need dat jack. Teleport works too.
I’m over 40 hours at this point & my main Jimmy is level 52. I love just sitting down to grind for an hour, the game is good for that. Every Time I went to a new area, I would get railed. You have to stay right next to the save point when you go into some dungeons until you go up a level or 2. Ni no Kuni has a great sidequest & hunt system. Once you figure out how to read the giant book about the game, that is IN the game, you’ll be on your way to some PWNn ass good times. I pride myself in completely every sidequest & hunt. The hunts are easy once you’re level up high enough.
[Spoiler Alert]
This was another epic battle I had recently. Luckily at this point I’ve had enough experience in battle & have the patience to battle it out & try to stay alive. You know what I always say, the key to beating any video game is staying alive. Unless you playing Kinect. Then you should kill yourself.
Ni no Kuni is the best game of 2013 so far. If you are an RPG fan & love to grind. Hey do you girls know how to twerk? Oops, been watching too much Ray Donovan. Grind it out. Pick up Ni no Kuni & let me know how you feel about it. I highly recommend it. Thanks for reading. Don’t be a Jimmy!
