The FGC has something new to get excited about. No it's not a new Gems pack. Skullgirls has finally announced a release date.

Skullgirls, which is highly anticipated within the fighting game community, is expected to become a mainstay within the tournament scene, starting with four tournaments in April and more tournaments to be announced in the coming weeks:

Texas Showdown Championships: Houston – April 6-8
PowerUp 2012: Cincinnati – April 13-15
Stunfest: Rennes, France – April 13-15
ESC: The Elite Series at Wizard World Toronto Comicon: Toronto – April 14-15

Personally I'm thrilled that I'll finally get to play this game. Gouki.com has been following Skullgirls since E3 2011. We visited again with Mike Z at EVO 2011. I'm most definitely am going to get this game next week. I've been saving my 1200 MS for a couple of weeks now, and I'm know it's going to be worth every single points that it costs.

I was just wondering if they were hooking you guys up with any extra copies. I was planning on buying it today for the PS3, but it never hurts to ask.

@dragonkiss83 it'll be cool if they did get some extra codes. I would probably like one on the 360 if they did get some codes. if no extra codes are available, at least i already have the points available.
