A tip on getting all of the HQ mats. KNOW YOUR MARKET. Check it often for some nuab posting stuff for like 30gil. I buy HQ Diremite for less than 100g all day. 2-3 a time & then save them for a couple of days until I have a bunch to craft. Don't be a Jimmy!

Batman beat-em up game FTW!!

We only got a few minutes to play the game. Adam from developer WayForward[too far forward, for FNJImmy] was there to help us out. The game is a simple beat-em up like classic Ninja Turtles games. Batman and depending on the level/stage, Batman’s partner will be different. Theres TONS of weapons and gadgets and power-ups. You can throw each other into bad guys, you can throw bad guys and then catch and pwn them from your partner.

Here’s where it gets crazy, Adam pulls out a Nintendo DS and drops into the game on the fly with Bat-mite. First he starts healing and helping Jimmy and I, then he starts dropping classic Warner Bros. Acme anvils and 1 ton blocks onto our domes. So Bat-mite can be played as helpful or annoying. Cool ad on and the fact that he can just drop in and out is really cool. Also when you’re playing single player, second player can also jump in and out on the fly. Gotta pee, like FNJimmy piss pants? Drop out real quick and let the computer play. Hell I’ll probably have a better chance. Enough of this, watch the video featuring FNJimmy.

Axton has quickly moved up my list of favorite characters in BL2, his turret action skill is quite good on its own, but with the right skills and weapons you can do the work of two players by yourself.

First the Survival Tree, I'm not a big fan of this.

You can see the relative offensive weakness of this build at about 4:45 in the video I throw a turret on each side of a basic loader, and I still have to kill it myself. I don't recommend the turret without the rocket pods. :) If you had 3 more points you could get the Scorched Earth rocket pods too. So with the 11 levels coming April 2, that's what I'd suggest first. If I did this over, I'd probably go with the rockets over the longbow just for the damage boost, but mag-lock without longbow is not very useful and Battlefront (extra damage when the turret is out for all your guns and grenades) is just so damn useful that I can't really recommend either version of this build unless you get the level cap DLC and get all 3 this build falls apart.

Now the Guerilla tree, the fun starts to pick up.

This is a good damage build with decent survivability. It allows the turret to slag, which is useful and will be even better in the upcoming third play through. The turret also has rocket pods and a shield. As far as Axton himself, he gets to carry 5 extra grenades and his shield will be recharging quickly most of the time. This is a good build that will only get better with the 11 new levels, allowing you to either add longbow and battlefront or get the twin Gemini turrets. Very versatile.

Finally we get to Gunpowder. NUKE!

This build is a great all around build as well, you still get the rocket pods from Guerilla and a good amount of defense, but you get a ton of DPS both from your nuke turret (basically an awesome, rechargeable grenade) and the use of the Battlefront skill. You'll note the Kerblaster assault rifle in the video shoots a projectile that explodes, drops a grenade and explodes again. This works with all the grenade damage boost skills too so this is my current favorite high DPS build. With 11 more skill points you can reach the slag turret too (double up, at the bottom of Guerilla tree) which will make this build very useful for the third play through. Also, nuking things is fun. :)

Really, you will soon be playing as everyone's favorite homicidal buddy Chucky.

There is a face not even a mother could love.

I don't know about the rest of you but I am a big horror movie fan.  And Child's Play is one of the movies that freaked me out as a kid.  I was like 5 when the first movie came out and really had no business watching it.  As it started I had my My Buddy doll, or whatever you'ld call it, sitting on the couch next to me.  

Needless to say I was scared as hell.  Me and a couple of kids from down the street decided we were going to take buddy out before he went psycho and killed us in our sleep.  The dolls were tied up and pulled down the street behind our bikes, smashed with baseball bats, and then thrown into the ocean.  Unforyunately my my best friends parents decided to get him a new one since he had liked it so much and it disappeared.  So of course a little kids we thought he had come back just like in the movies.  

So this was one of the first horror series that really got in my head and as the movies continued to come out I grew to like them.  When you got to the later movies like Bride of Chucky they started to make the movies lean more towards a dark sense of humor and it took away from them, but made them more appealing to people.  I'm not sure what the main influences on the game will be or how much of the series will make it into the game, but playing as Chucky has me interested.

They are calling the game a stealth action romp.  And you will be playing as Chucky himself.  And it promises to be gory.  They say there will be a multitude of methods to get your kills.  It will be a downloadable game for PC and home consoles.  We should be seeing it sometime this fall, to me it feels like a Halloween game.  So far that's all the details I've seen on the game.

A how-to guide for unlocking the three extra characters in Street Fighter Zero 3 (Alpha 3).

Local Gouki user Guano brought over his new UD-CPS2 system with a copy of the Japaneese Street Fighter Zero 3 (alpha 3 in the US). GoukiJones wanted to play as Juni, a favorite from back in the day when alpha was the new game in town.

Its too easy to make a sequel worse than the original. I can only hope Bioshock 2 is better than the original Bioshock!

I love the original Bioshock. I've played through it 3 times, just recently again this summer when I fucked up the Historian achievement by missing the first two audio diaries like a Jimmy! 

Two weeks ago I saw the new trailer/preview/video whatever of Bioshock 2 and it got me excited. I knew I had to share it here. I took it to a whole-notha-level! Video blowout!

Wakfu is going to hit us with a character wipe, give us a patch, and new classes.

Thanks to Gouki.com I was able to get a Beta key for Wakfu (a beta that has been going on for 2+ years).  Less than a week of playing and my first character is about to get wiped, not a big deal I'm not that far, and you need to do it to get the other classes tested.

But so far there is plenty of fun to be had in the game.  I started off with a Plant Summoner, and at a level 8 already have the class spells learned as well as most of the elemental.  What's cool about this is your spells level up as you use them.  So unlike other rpgs the vine attack you start with is not useless.  Durring your intro to the game you earn some armor that is made of the creatures you are killing.  You can later craft your own items from materials you collect.  Right now all the jobs are open to any character type, so you can take on all the jobs if you choose.  The jobs split in two groups crafters, and harvesters.  As a crafter you can be a chef, a baker, a handyman, jewler, a weaponsmith, an armourer, a leather trader, and a tailor.  As a harvester you can collect the materials needed for crafting.  The options are miner, fisherman, lumberjack, trapper, farmer, and herbalist.  And right now you can mint your own money, but I guess before this patch the creatures dropped money.  This matters because NPcs do not buy or sell, the economy is entirely player driven. Needles to say there is a lot to be done.

They list 14 character types you can play as http://www.wakfu.com/na/mmorpg/game-guide/classes, 4 of them are available right now.  The Plant summoner that I chose,  you also have the archer, the healer, and the warrior.  

On the 21st they are bringing in the cat people/ gamblers, and the treasure hunters, as well as a political system.  They still have plenty of things waiting to be tested before the open beta this summer.  And I intend to keep making new classes as we get them to see what the game has to offer, but so far it's looking pretty good.

The room goes crazy as everybody gets a free copy of Borderlands 2... and also pizza.

We didn't think we were going to get into this panel as it started right after our interview with Jeramy Cooke. By the time we got to the theater, we had to wait in the standby line. We managed to get in though when they called for a group of three we were the first in the overflow line to jump for that!

Watch as Randy Pitchford does his best Oprah and gives everyone a great prize then makes the crowd recite an oath of thanks for the free gift. Everybody pulls the same "I state your name" joke too. Awesome...

I was looking for a reason to restart this game one more time. All the way from the begginning, just to mix in this DLC. Badass Nice!

My top 5 female fighters they are beautiful, sexy and powerful.

Fighting games have always been dominated by big strong men. In most fighting games females only make up 10 to 20 percent of the roster. Me personally i love women who can kick some ass and even though female fighters are out numbered like 5 to 1 i still prefer the minority. I have here my 5 favorite female fighters there beautiful they kick ass and to me they outshine most men. So without further delay here are my top 5.

Jam Kuradoberi

For those of you who don't know jam is from the guilty gear series. She is hot (obviously) and she is one of the most badass kung fu style characters regardless of gender. She pulls off the whole fighting waitress thing perfectly and she is my overall favorite character in the guilty gears series. She also has a very unique look....just look at that hair. She made her debut in guilty gear X and has been a staple in the series since. If you don't know much about her or guilty gear i suggest you look them up you won't be disappointed.

King

King is originally from the snk fighter the art of fighting. She originally fought disguised as a man and it wasn't until the KOF series that she caught my attention. She is a muay thai fighter and the first female one i remember seeing. Just because she does muay thai don't think she fights like sagat or adon. Her move set is pretty unique and i love her for that. She is my favorite female snk character and i love her taunt " COME ON BABY"

Chun Li

The original female fighter miss chun li set a trend in the fighting game universe. She was one of the original 8 world warriors and she proved that a woman could hang with the big boys. To this day i believe chun li is the most popular female fighting game character of all time. She has a awesome fighting style and she has become one of the faces of the franchise. She is sexy and tough and can kick you ass what more do you want.

Cammy

Cammy is one deadly piece of woman. I remember her when super street fighter 2 came out she was my favorite of the 4 new challengers. She is the second female fighter in the street fighter universe and is a good one. She is from england and was formerly under bisons psycho power control. She is almost as popular as chun li in my opinion. She has a really interesting fighting style that draws players to her. She is also one of the hottest females around no doubt about it.

Crimson Viper

As if you didn't already know, viper is my all time favorite female fighter. Viper first made her debut in street fighter 4 and in my opinion she is the most popular out of all the new comers in the street fighter 4 universe. Going into SF4 i didn't think she would become one of my favorites. In all honesty she wasn't even a favorite of mine until SSF4 was almost out. She has a truly unique style and is one of the hardest to characters to master but that just makes her that much more appealing. She may have not been out very long but she is already #1 in my heart and i look forward to seeing her in more games. Sexy has a new name and that name is crimson viper.
