Gears of War 3 multiplayer looks exactly the same IMHO

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the Gears of War series. I'm not a fan boy for Halo or Call of Duty either. At least by watching a video I can tell you the Halo's look different.

I beat both of the Gears of War games, I didn't get in to the multiplayer at all. Don't worry, I barely played through any of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare or World at Wat stories. I did however put a little more time into the Multiplayer. I haven't beat Halo Reach Yet, but I have been playing the shit out of the multiplayer. With that said, yes, Halo is my favorite online multiplayer shooter.

It's when I see video like this, showing off the new Gears of War 3 multiplayer and I have to have an argument with some random Jimmy that these images could be from Gears of War 2, I get upset. Maybe somebody who has played the shit out of Gears could tell in a side by side comparison that the two games look different. I would argue the it would be easiest to see the difference between Reach and Halo 3 or even between Halo 3 and Halo 2.

The only thing that really stood out for me in these Gears of War 3 multiplayer videos are the assassinations. Yeah similar to the run up and kill style of the Halo Reach assassination, just Gears of War style. Other than that this game looks the exact same. You showed me a side by side comparison of Gears 3 and Gears 2 without the Gears 3 assassinations and I would be able to tell the difference. Again though, I don't play as mush Gears as I do Halo. Maybe this is the reason.

As an avid Gears of War fan, I was severely disappointed with how Epic handled the Gears 2 MP with the insane host advantage and the glitches and all that gay nonsense. From all I have seen from these videos, Epic is not pulling any punches and wants to redeem themselves for a shitty gears 2 MP
