Generation Zero Beta Review
We played this together a few times. We didn’t find the game play very exciting or very in depth. GrrrtyGirl (My wife) made it clear that she wasn’t having fun killing the robot dogs. She was bored that it was all you could do in the game. We streamed a session where we are in the dark for over an hour, but at least the fireworks look cool at night.
You were confined to only a small part of the game during the beta. We found out we were cut off the first time we played. So the next time our plan was to scout the entire island and see if we could find anything cool or interesting. What happens next you won’t believe. We still don’t.
I think the game gave GrrrtyGirl and I a small taste of what it’s going to be like to team up in an open world game. Other that that, I don’t think we’ll be playing this Generation Zero any time soon. Maybe a revisit after some updates. Maybe.
