Immediately reminds me of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra?!
WTF am I saying. I’m saying the truth! Ok maybe it’s the other way around since Marvel Alliance 1. G.I. Joe probably tried to copy Marvel Alliance. Regardless, there already seems to be way more thought and depth to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. MAU2 is a beat‘em up style with RPG elements The game overall kind of reminds me of Gauntlet or TMNT.
I just beat the first boss, Electro. Whipped his ass easily. I set the game difficulty on hard, there is a hardest mode, but it’s locked.
Uh-oh moral decisions … Why can’t I just pound the shit out Jimmys and be done with? The choices I first had were not clear if they were good or bad. One told me I was diplomatic and the other said I was defensive. Hmm, I’ll have to figure out which one is the most evil as I go on.
Wolverine destroys!
What’s wrong with Gambit’s face Jimmy? His nose is huge and well, he just looks really fucked up. That’s one of the worst character models. Let’s see if he pwns.
Gambit seems to be weak at the moment, but I’ll level him up. Juggernaut rails though forget it! Juggernaut and Gambit team up to do a fusion technique. Juggernaut pulls a huge chunk of the earth or floor up, Gambit throws a bunch of charge cards into and then Juggernaut slams it into the enemies. Totally awesome!
Now I’m starting to get the dungeon crawler feel. I like it. This game is fun so far and I will continue to play it. I’ll let you know how I feel about the entire game when I beat it.
Jimmy!
