Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition $40 Disc says Amazon.com

Amazon.com has listed Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition for $40. We already know that it's coming out at the end of June, but price for the Disc version wasn't announced. Check it out.

Now before anyone freak out, look at it the way I see it. For everyone who already owns Super Street Fighter IV we get the DLC for $15 to add to our game. For those who don't own a copy of Super, can get the Arcade Edition on disc with Super included for one low price. I agree with Capcom if this is the price they are going with. I will most likely buy the disc version, because then i can take it anywhere, I don't have to worry about DLC and being online. Also this is great for the tournament scence. Disc based is the way to go in my opinion.

I was hoping it was going to be 30 instead of 40... but 40 for a full game is not bad if you don't have the previous edition. It's certainly better than EA and Activision charging 60 for Madden and CoD every year.

According to eventhubs the DLC price is 14.99. I don't see why they would charge us over double that for a disc. Maybe I could see it being 20-25 for packaging and what not, but the disc also doesn't come out until the 28th where as the DLC comes out on the 7th. That's a lot of extra waiting time. I think they'll be about the same, but I don't see them charging 40 for it. Not with the DLC only being 15.

I'll probably wind up getting both versions. >_> Just because the DLC comes out almost an entire month early, but the Disc is... well a disc, and I want that.
