I decided to start creating character builds because I see to many newbs online
So some of us was excited for Dead Island before release, No? Well I was and it turned out to be a pretty shitty game, that was before I looked at character builds that make this game actual fun.. Yes Dead Island is actually fun, can you imagine?

Nub farm guide to jet packs
wud up nub farms. halo reach is less than 4 days away, and i realize that some of you poor suck'az wernt in the reach beta. (Man Of Ponage) Well heres a little leg up (pun intended) for you r-tards that are coming in to reach with no experience what so ever. I am sure you all know about the armor abilities by now, if you don't then go fuck your self. Now theres only one that you really need to bother with, the jet pack. this little bad boy is the shit, hands down. who gives a shit about sprint when you could just fly around.
Key fact number one, it last about 4 seconds so handle with care. Key fact number 2, falling damage is a real threat, don't be a nub farm and fall to your death. Key fact number 3, its loud as shit so don't bother trying to sneak around with it. no that those are out of the way ill impart some knowledge on how to use this mother fucker.
key use number 1, this thing is crazzy good for getting around levels. don't be like one of those fuck tards like EPIC AR, who runs around to get to point a to point b. if where you need to be is right above your head just hit the gas and your there, end of story. Key use number 2, this is the more fun and easy way of pwning. when you are trying to kill some fuck tard its super fun and super easy to just fly right over his head and break his fucking neck with the melee assassinations. these make for great pictures by the way. key use number 3, now this is new to me but unlike the beta you can use this jet pack when you are carrying the flag. this leads to all kind of fun in my mind. some dip shits chasing you down on the bottom level when you have the flag, well jet up a level and that is a big fuck you to them. Key use number 4, this comes with a little more practice but it is rewarding and just super dooper cool. theres all kinds of little pillars and shit that you can only reach with the jet pack on most the levies. add a little ninja skills to your arsenal by jumping form pillar to pillar with the jet pack shooting any mother fucker who happens to be under you. its super fun to do, and its super frustrating to the guy who is receiving the punishment. Key use number 5, the high flying pistol shots. now that the original pistol is back you can zoom in with this bad boy and snag some head shots from your buddys. This is a true skill when you get down to it, but if you can pull it off you will be sniping kills from all your fiends. when you see your buddy shooting the shit out of some one just get some height and zoom in with your pistol and snag a head shot. this works a little better with the DMR but the pistol is just way more fun.
with these tips you jimmys will be the cream of the crop in no time. and beside getting twice the kills with half the work is just so much better.

Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I take on Pete the Invincible using a glitch to our advantage.
On Wednesday, January 16, Goukijones, Batrasterd, and I went and took on the raid boss of Mr. Tourge's Campaign of Carnage, Pete the Invincible. Our first look at how to build out the Borderlands 2 classes starts off with Maya, the Siren. Let's see how her 3 skill trees work.
Let's start off with my least favorite tree, Harmony (the center tree). Here's a link to the build if you want to follow along.
I really don't like the "Scorn" cap on this tree, as you can see at the end of the video, it's very easy to hit yourself with it. Some of the other skills like the "Res" game changer in the middle of the tree, are only useful in co-op, so you'd likely want to re-spec if you ever played solo and put that point to better use somewhere else in the tree. In a full team of 4, and with a good Heavenly Nurse class mod, this build can greatly improve the survivability of everyone in the group. In fact, you should probably move the 5 points in recompense into Elated if you have 3 or more players as it will be less about your survival and more about the health of the group as a whole.Read full story...

About Kintaro: Like any other Shokan, Kintaro boasts brute strength, stamina and prowess. Unlike his brethren, Kintaro hails from a subspecies specializing in savagery. Combined with savage style of kombat and a mercilessness makes him one of the most lethal kombatants on the battle ground.
For a long time after his introduction, he was seen as one of the hardest bosses in all of the Mortal Kombat series. This was because he was able to grabl someone in mid-attack and throw him or her to the ground, usually followed by a teleport-stomp. He also shot up to three fireballs at a time. About Shao Kahn: Shao Kahn is shown to be an immensely powerful being throughout the series. He is able to utilize magic and has superhuman strength. He is also able to charge at the opponent with considerable speed and power. In Mortal Kombat 9, Shao Kahn is by far, supreme and above Goro and Kintaro. Able to attack and grab even while being attacked. He also has incredible health along with up to par defenses.

I've put a few of mine up, but let me just share this one with you.... HQ level 70** (2 star) for all your end-game crafting needs. Requires 520 CP with food (505 for specialists with Stroke of Genius). I use this all the time to make high-end raid foods and any i320 crafted battle gear including weapons!
Axton has quickly moved up my list of favorite characters in BL2, his turret action skill is quite good on its own, but with the right skills and weapons you can do the work of two players by yourself.
First the Survival Tree, I'm not a big fan of this.
You can see the relative offensive weakness of this build at about 4:45 in the video I throw a turret on each side of a basic loader, and I still have to kill it myself. I don't recommend the turret without the rocket pods. :) If you had 3 more points you could get the Scorched Earth rocket pods too. So with the 11 levels coming April 2, that's what I'd suggest first. If I did this over, I'd probably go with the rockets over the longbow just for the damage boost, but mag-lock without longbow is not very useful and Battlefront (extra damage when the turret is out for all your guns and grenades) is just so damn useful that I can't really recommend either version of this build unless you get the level cap DLC and get all 3 this build falls apart.
Now the Guerilla tree, the fun starts to pick up.
This is a good damage build with decent survivability. It allows the turret to slag, which is useful and will be even better in the upcoming third play through. The turret also has rocket pods and a shield. As far as Axton himself, he gets to carry 5 extra grenades and his shield will be recharging quickly most of the time. This is a good build that will only get better with the 11 new levels, allowing you to either add longbow and battlefront or get the twin Gemini turrets. Very versatile.
Finally we get to Gunpowder. NUKE!
This build is a great all around build as well, you still get the rocket pods from Guerilla and a good amount of defense, but you get a ton of DPS both from your nuke turret (basically an awesome, rechargeable grenade) and the use of the Battlefront skill. You'll note the Kerblaster assault rifle in the video shoots a projectile that explodes, drops a grenade and explodes again. This works with all the grenade damage boost skills too so this is my current favorite high DPS build. With 11 more skill points you can reach the slag turret too (double up, at the bottom of Guerilla tree) which will make this build very useful for the third play through. Also, nuking things is fun. :)

Zombie games have become quite popular in the last few years, with successes such as Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead, and Dead Nation (see a trend here?). Techland and Deep Silver have gotten on board with a Zombie game of their own with Dead Island. Does this 5 year plus developed game show a fine polish or is it another Techland disaster? The story of Dead Island is by far one of the most uninspired pieces of garbage I have seen in a game in a long time. The game starts with giving you a short character bio for each of the four cast members, detailing why they are on the island of Banoi and a little insight into who they are. None of these things matter as the game quickly removes any real story aspect from the game. The game starts with you in your hotel room after a zombie outbreak has occurred, leaving you helpless to fend off zombies. You quickly here a voice that tells you to grab a weapon and head for safety. You’ll soon find yourself incapacitated by the undead, but find out that you are immune to becoming a zombie (how convenient). Meaning that every surviving person on the island makes you their personal errand boy/girl because you can’t become infected by the undead and they all can; making for some pretty cheesy story arcs. You’ll soon find yourself ignoring any sense of story here, which is probably the only bad thing about Dead Island.
The gameplay mechanics in Dead Island are what you would expect from your average first person shooter, but this is no shooter. While there are guns, they are very hard to come by. Your only real source for survival is relying heavily on melee combat, and team work. Dead Island is a 4-player co-op experience and this is where the game shines very well. It reminds me a lot of Borderlands with all of the weapons and how there are hundreds of different customization options for them. Dead Island also uses a very unique way of melee combat, with the right analog stick you can slash and swing in whichever direction you feel. It makes aiming for the head or limbs that much easier, and as we all know cut or bash a zombie in the head and they’re dead. This takes a bit of time to get used to but once you do it is a lot of fun slicing the heads of zombies with perfect precision. There are times when there are a ton of zombies attacking you at once without any frame rate issues. Also there are a bunch of different zombie types, ranging from Walkers, Infected, Thugs, and more. My only gripe with the online multiplayer is that the game doesn’t force character selection like in Left 4 Dead, which sounds like a good thing, but when you have 3 out of 4 players using the same character it’s impossible to differentiate between them as each character looks exactly the same. This also doesn’t help with team unity, because in Dead Island each of the 4 characters has special abilities and skills that benefit one another for the best survival. When all 4 players are the same guy it tends to become mute point. Another great thing about co-op is that you aren’t really tied to a leash with your partners, you are basically free to explore the island however you like, but there are some missions that require all players there to start. Exploring the island is essential for finding new weapons and mods, plus also secret missions. The driving mechanics in the game aren’t bad but there aren’t great either. I do have a problem with driving in first person only and with the steering wheel being on the right side, but I’m just being picky here. Overall the game plays much like Borderlands and Left 4 Dead and that is a good thing.
The look of Dead Island feels a little outdated with some bad textures here and there, and the character models look a little flushed out and not as refined, but the undead look great. The environments also look pretty good considering how there are so many places to go and zombies on screen. The game rarely loads either unless you are leaving or entering certain areas of the game. Seeing a zombie get his head bashed in by a spiked bat never gets old, the way the blood splatters and how pieces of flesh fly everywhere are great touches. For the most part the game looks good and you can really immerse yourself in the island of Banoi quite easily. Weapons look like you would expect them too; it’s also nice to see the wear and tear the more you use them. Bats start cracking, knifes look rusted, sickles start to bend its great. Also seeing your weapons change as you upgrade them and customize them are a nice touch as well. The fire effects from Molotov cocktails and exploding canister look great as well. Overall the visual aspect of the game isn’t the best, but it doesn’t take away from the experience.
The audio department can be a bit of a hit or miss in some areas. While the voice acting is done rather well, the cheesy one liners and pleas from some of the other survivors are sometimes quite laughable. The zombies sound great and the ambiences make you really feel like you’re stuck on an island that is infested with the undead. You can literally hear a zombie around the corner moaning and groaning while they wait to attack. The character you play as don’t sound bad at all, but can get cheesy too with how they are feeling about the current situation. Unfortunately the cheesy one liners get repeated quite often as you explore the island. For the most part the audio in Dead Island does a good job immersing you into the game.
Dead Island is a pretty good game with a lot going for it. The 4 player co-op is a lot of fun, and the single player is just as good. The RPG elements that of Boarderlands with skill trees, weapon customization, and leveling up are all represented well here in Dead Island. The game clocks in at well over 40 hours, and the each character plays so differently that you can essentially play through 4 different times. This game remains fun from chapter 1 until the very end. Dead Island is a huge success over Techland’s latest Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Anyone thinking about playing Dead Island will be happy to know that you can enjoy it solo or with friends and there is a character for every play style.

All the gear you need to be a master crafter for level 25-29. HQ style. This gear can easily last you 10 levels. With the right Materia added you can be an HQ master, like me. Remember DoH gear is cross class. I'm leveling all crafts to 50. Save $$$!
Before I even started I check the MP to see how much it would cost me to just buy this stuff & not waste my time crafting. Well 1; I need the XP for Weaver & Goldsmith. 2; I’ve been collecting HQ Diremite & a few other mats for a week. Plus all my other crafts are at level 24 so I can make any miscellaneous piece I need on the fly.
On the MP these items HQ were costing well over 30k on Malboro server. I’m fairly certain I put this entire set together for less than 20k using HQ mats.

A level 26 WVR & GSM can make all of this stuff no problem. Providing HQ materials are used to make it easy on them. I highly recommend always crafting for HQ mats, if you want for sure a HQ outcome.
