Behind closed doors in Lucasarts' private room we saw what may be one of the hottest games this year...
In the Force Unleashed, you play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Starkiller.
Now Starkiller is back and badder than ever as he seeks revenge for Vader's betrayal (he really shoul've seen it coming, it is Vader after all). For some reason Vader leaves the killing of his apprentice to a handful of stormtroopers instead of doing it himself. Typical bad guy mistake. Anyway this clip is from the first level after you've dispatched the guards and are making your way out of the facility.
There are a few new tricks up Starkiller's sleeve these days. First and most noticably, he now carries two lightsabers and his fighting style has changed accordingly. The force powers look a lot better in the sequel and the devs said that they've spent a lot of time fixing the targeting system. Here's hoping that pays off. There's also a new force power; the Jedi mind trick will have your foes attacking their own side or simply jumping off the side of the building. Awesome!
I'm super excited about this game and you should be too. If you haven't played the original, you really ought to. (No, Jimmy, the Wii version does not count.) Buy Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
We got a brief glimpse of this game at E3 2010 ...
We got a brief glimpse of this game at E3 2010, then stupid g*metr*ilers.nubfarm came in and cut us off. Nevermind that. Gouki.com number 1 in the world!
Ok so the demo at E3 was really cool. You are a bear on an island that none of the other bears like. The other bears are mean to you, ridicule you and laugh at you to your face. So fuck these bears, go get a machete and start hacking them up. It's payback bitches. As soon as you hack up the first bear you come across the rest of the town enters panic mode. Running to their homes and barricading the doors with dressers or refrigerators. While they are barricaded in the house you can go to the electrical box and cut their power. The bear inside the house will call his friend to come over and fix it. This is when you can ram his face into the electrical box, killing him. LOL at this point during the "serious press demo." What did they expect? So then the bear in the house calls the police. You hear him call the police and set up bear traps around the house to catch and injure the police bear. Police bear comes and gets caught in the trap. Easy prey. You run up and pull him by the back of his head like you were just gonna rip it off and then ... stupid other website comes into the room and ruins our press demo. Watch the trailer, if you can stomach it.

GoldenEye007 is a game developed by Eurocom and published by Activision and is a Wii exclusive that is scheduled to be released this holiday season
With the classic gameplay, all these first person shooters are trying to replicate, GoldenEye for the N64 will always imitated but never be duplicated. The story line, that wasn't afraid to deviate from the movie, single player gameplay and most importantly, the multi-player experience, will never be retold, until now!
The build I was able to play, was in the multi-player mode. Eight character you can choose from including Odd Job, the smug bastard that would throw his top hat and kill you. Yeah, he's here and that's his grenade skills! With the Will in mind, they used the classic controller on this.
Check out Jimmy playing it!
The gameplay, while it may have taken a while to get use to, and the dude that was in there that played the crap out of it, is FUN! You can aim and shoot. Just put your cross hair on the guy and kill him. The level I played was a great remake of the classic, just updated to feel fresh! And they did. The new feature that is now standard in today's games, are a sprint button and aim using your iron sight. Once you get the hang of it, that guy is GONE! It's such a fun and nostalgic experience that left me wanting more.
It featured four player split screen and eight player online and features a brand new story mode It will be a must buy for the Wii and classic N64 owner.
In a secret kitchen hidden inside the Los Angeles convention center we watch a demo of XCOM with studio director Martin Slater.
Xcom is a classic computer game, that what I think most of the Jimmys that made the original Bioshock are trying to remake. So for me, this is a no-brainer. I loved the first Bioshock, I think it is one of the best games of all time. So we sit down right in the front of the room and take a swig from my soda bottle, Jimmy! Wink wink. Martin Slater was standing up front, BatRastered and I quickly introduced ourselves and exchanged business cards. Martin was totally laid back and knew a lot about the preview we were watching, he guided us through.
I have seen this video before, or clips of it or something. It’s not bad. The graphics seem very rough and you can tell it’s an early build. The setting is like Bioshock on land, during the day. The game is very ominous with various things scurrying about trying to give you a scare. Black blobs of static electricity to be honest. The action scene takes place inside a house where the black static blobs are attacking a family and you need to go in and kill everything. When it’s time to leave a giant alien rectangular cube appears and turns into a donut looking object.*see video* At this point the donut looking object begins blasting away and sucking up debris all around you. The demo ends with you escaping.
I want to play this game, there is no doubt. I think it’s going to be very deep. The world map was shown for a few moments during the demo and you could clearly see that your options for different things to do at this point across the United States.Read full story...

Seriously, giant enemy crab!!
Hey you know me. I'm much better talking into the camera with a giant grin on my face after I just played one of my most highlt exciting for games. Better this than me trying to write what I remember a week later.
Sneak peek at the PSN exclusive zombie shooter.
If you played Smash TV (or Zombie Apocalypse on XBLA) you know what to expect.
A quick sneak peek at the new game based on the movie based on the comics...

NBA Jam is back Jimmy!
NBA Jam is back with the addition of some preset waggles and some updated graphics. Other than that, it's exactly what you remember from 1997.
Wolves and bigger wolves get whipped and stabbed...
I had a chance to play Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for a short while at Konami's E3 booth. The game brings Castlevania into the current generation with a play style similar to the God of War series. The whip action controls well and throwing daggers is quick and easy. The only enemies I got to fight were werewolves and larger werewolves that were in turn ridden by the smaller ones. Weird. You can pull off some neat combos with the different whip attacks and you can unlock new moves as you progress through the game. The cutscenes are skippable but they do feature the voice of Patrick Stewart. Whatever, this being a Kojima game, I can see some of these scenes being on the long side, so as long as I can skip, I'm happy.
Take a look at me playing Castlevania at E3.
I use every bullet I have on the first boss...
I played the first level of Vanquish at E3. The game is really smooth. It plays like Gears of War on speed. You mostly rely on cover, but you can move so fast from one to the next and shuffle around behind it. The graphics look great and the control is spot on when moving around. I had a little bit of trouble with the targetting mechanic as it didn't "pop and lock" when I held down the aim button like most western shooters I'm used to (and I think the sensitivity was dialed way up from where I like it).
My only dissapointment was the lack of multiplayer despite the fact that you are rolling with a squad. I'm still interested in playing this though.
Check out this quick video of me playing Vanquish at Sega's E3 booth.
