Playstation Move Bowling Ball by CTA Digital

By: goukijones Apr 13, 2011 | 8 Comments

CTA Digital has released a video demonstrating their new Bowling Ball peripheral.

The bowling ball doesn't have any real weight to it and you don't actually release the ball. Still a great concept, if you're a bowling fanatic and want the feeling of a REAL BALL in your hand. I'm done typing after, REAL BALL.

Killzone 3 changes the industry. Here's a look at a few high profile gun peripherals for the Sony Playstation Move. The official Sony Sharpshooter and the CTA Assault rifle. Play an FPS like never before.

There are a few excellent options if you want to use your PlayStation 3 Move controller and play an FPS like you have never played before. Killzone 3 has gun peripherals galore. We got to try one out recently at CES and FnJimmy really liked it. From what I observed, I like what I saw and would definitely give it a try. Sony has a quality product here with the Move FPS.

How much would you pay for this experience? Sony's asking an awful lot.

ON the show floor at the 2011 CES, Gouki's own FnJimmy plays Killzone 3 with the new Sharp Shooter Move gun in 3D. I put on the second pair of 3D glasses ($150 each MSRP) to see what this game could do. I've got a big head, and was wearing my glasses that day, so the active shutter glasses were not very comfortable to wear. I'd hate to have them on my head for more than 10 minutes. The 3D effect was decent, though it broke if you tilted your head. Overall, it didn't add too much to the game. I got the feeling that having it in 3D would help you aim with this accessory as you could line up your  target through the reticule better. I didn't get to play the game, so I'll let Jimmy explain his feelings in the video:
