Spoiler Alert: still no actual game play.
I said the E3 demo was a huge set piece that looked very scripted to me. This trailer leaves me with the same bland flavor. What is this game going to look like when somebody is actually playing it? 9-7-2018 we will find out.
Looks like the complete play through of the E3 demo. Definitely new footage.
They show a ton of the combat and menus. And I mean a ton. There is a full combat boss fight and you can get a good gist of what the gameplay is going to feel like. I'm really hoping there are not a lot of repetitive fights. I'm really hoping for more Borderlands type gameplay over a Destiny style. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Announced at SDCC in 2018 and said to be released in 2019.
Macfarlane Toys is known for expert craftmanship. They have never released anything that resembles a LEGO before. These set are sure to be a collector's item for gamers and LEGO fans. It may not be a LEGO set, but I can already see Cuphead fitting nicely into my LEGO town. With all of the detail and art from the game, the bosses will make a killer backdrop to any display.Read full story...

I praise Darksiders, but did not enjoy Darksiders II as much. Who cares? Let's talk about Statues.
I'm still waiting for the day a four player version of this game is announced. Like the Zelda game you can play with 3 friends. This style of gameplay is just like Zelda. I would say that the first game is what I expected an adult Zelda game to be similar to. They do seem to be going balls to the wall with these statues. Remember the Q stands for Quality. So they are probably going to be very nice. I remember how mine was delivered with the first game.

It's a Hamster from SPACE.
Honestly I don't mind this. I remember a few months back -it might be a year now- that Overwatch talked about a bunch of heroes in the pipeline. This was before Moira, I think she was the next one OTW at that point. They spoke about a few different characters, but the one that stood out the most was a character that controlled bots that could be sent out around the map. It made me think it would be like if Symetras turrets could walk around or maybe like a mouser from TMNT. Anyway, I haven't played Overwatch in a long time and my ban on it remains intact until we have Baxtor Stockman and the Mousers in the game.

During the Fortnite Pro-Am the internet did a crazy tilt with search analytics. Search engines became the tool used to find more information about the celebrity entrants and who they were playing with. The top searches may surprise you. They did me.
YouPorn reported Gamer traffic was down -13.57% during the event. This is evidence that gamers do have other interests beyond just the thrill of playing their favorite game. The Fortnite Pro-Am was the second major event for Fortnite this year. The first event hosted by Twitch streamer Ninja was located in Las Vegas and aptly name Ninja Vegas. Fortnite is a very interesting and exciting game to watch, especially at the high levels these players strive to maintain. At some points the storm area would get so small with 6 players still competing for the #1 spot. Towers being built to the sky, strategies and high-level endgame fighting that we had never really seen before.Read full story...

No shows from Metroid and Yoshi after 2017's video teases. Don't worry tho, HELLA Smash Bros.
Ok, so there were a few games that Nintendo showed us that was alright. The most exciting for me was Super Mario Party. Overcooked 2 looked like it could be fun in the short term. And Fortnite was finally announced for Switch and is available for free download today. A few other games, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, etc. etc. This was a very weak presentation from Nintendo.
Then we have 25 minutes of Smash. This is great news for fans of this game. It is the Ultimate version, which includes every single character from every Smash game. It is the largest video game crossover ever. Speaking about this 25-minute video, this is a perfect example of how I wish every game demo went for E3. Here’s our new game. New features. New characters. Things that used to work like this, work a different way now, here’s what it looks like. The game director goes on and on about the game and its features. Then ends with a release date Oh how perfect all of E3 would be if it was just full of videos like this one below.

My firsthand account of the Sony PlayStation Press Conference E3 2018.
Playstation had the strangest press conference this year. The first part was in a tent designed to look like a level from The Last of Us Part II. I’ve been to these press conferences before, and everybody was complaining it was hot in L.A. I would not have tolerated one droplet of drip during any of these shows nowadays. There is no need for separate tents, huge dance numbers, dirt bikes, 100 consoles on stage for no reason. WTF. I strongly believe the people planning out the press conferences don’t actually even play video games. Anyway, The Last of Us Part II looks like it’s going to be as much fun as the first one.
Video Game Company Sucker Punch Productions who previously developed Sly Cooper and the Infamous games, showed off their new game. Samurai Batman!
