According to a post on Steam's forums, the service has been compromised.
If you're a Steam user, you might want to keep an eye on your credit card statements. According to Gabe Newell, the service's security was breached. This came in the wake of Steam's forums being "defaced" in the words of Gabe himself, who's explaination can be found in the link below. Amongst other things he says, "We don’t have evidence of credit card misuse at this time." Nevertheless, the hacker was able to obtain "...user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses and encrypted credit card information." It's not clear at this time rather or not all accounts were obtained, but Valve will be encouraging all users to change their passwords.
As of right now Steam's forums are down and will be up "as soon as [they] can [get them up]."

I mean, I already knew there were going to be multiple options for character builds. Duh.
Here’s my list so far:
You are the Fatemaker. Similar to being called the Vault Hunter or VH for short. As far as these 6 confirmed classes, I really think you’re going to be able to build your character via gear and not necessarily pick a job at the beginning of the game. Don’t quote me on that, I don’t actually know how any of it works quite yet. Check out the lastest character trailer from Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.Read full story...
PC component performance, heat and you!
The AMD Radeon R9 Series follows the latest trend in PC components having their advertised performance rated as an "up to X Mhz". You can no longer buy a GPU or CPU for that matter and have the rating on the package be the actual real world performance all the time. It's complicated...Read full story...

I won the game back in June from here and have played enough for my review.
I've got to start by saying thanks again to Gouki.com for making me Jimmy of the Month back in June and hooking me up with another great game. This time around was even better. Not only did I get the copy of Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift for this review, but I also have a copy of Dead or Alive 5 coming.

Can 2018 produce better video games than 2017?!
#1 Red Dead Redemption 2
This game is a former Gouki.com Jimmy Gem Game of the Year. Just recently, well 2 years ago now I guess… I played Red Dead Redemption again and it still holds up and is still one of my all-time favorites. Rockstar only releases new games every 5 years, so get hype! RDR2 is going to be the game of the year. (No specific release date as of this post)

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that it entered into a definitive agreement on June 30, 2012 (Japan Time) to acquire Gaikai Inc., the world's leading interactive cloud-based gaming company, what will this mean for the PS4?
I'm not sold on network powered gaming yet. Having the processing power in the cloud means you don't have to buy hardware, and it means the operating company can upgrade the hardware at any time without bothering you, but the input and display lag has to kill certain genres of games. Would you play an FPS or a fighting game with noticeable lag, for instance? For a single-player cinematic experience, this system would be tough to beat (like Uncharted's campaign) though I think even some action games would need to be tweaked to be a bit more forgiving of timing based actions.Read full story...

In another universe errrr GALAXY that needs savin'!
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has had my eye since the first time I saw it. A lot of the combat reminds me of Final Fantasy VII Remake, so I have my fingers crossed that I find the same enjoyment in GOTG as I did FF7R. The graphics and more specifically the colors of the game are very interesting. I always thought the Marvel movies made space look really cool. Well, Square Enix has done a wonderful job making space look cool in their new universe as well. I can’t wait to play.Read full story...
