PlayStation Plus is $50 a year, but what exactly do you get? Iorilamia explores PS+ DLC, specials and the value that it carries.
PlayStation Plus is 3 months for $17.99 or one year for $49.99. Doesn't seem too bad, you can imagine you're paying for something like XBL. Here are the cool perks you get. Or don't get ...
Each Month/Week- Free PSN games, minis and PS One Classics from the PSN Store. Dynamic Themes, avatars and add-ons (basically dlc)
Sucks because, Usually the PS1 games are crap games you most likely didn't play or want to play. Mini's are short-term games you would play on your cell phone usually . Free PSN games are basically games that are about $2-$15 for regular users and suck most of the time. The add-ons are mainly for random games you most likely don't have, and it's not always free. Avatars and themes...cool. Also the games are not their forever. One decent discount/free game can be up for a week, and the next few months will be complete trash games. And wtf, ps1 games are cool but they are backward compatible, the latest version of ps3 can only play like 10% of ps2 games, those should be what they are giving you.
You do get to try demos before regular users do and you get discounts on psn games.
Here is why I hate PS+ the most. Once you stop paying for it, you loose everything except avatars and themes (the lamest part of PS+...) I don't get it. You get "free" games you just paid 50 bucks for and they are all complete ASS, since you think your getting a good deal you go download and discount buying happy over thins you normally would never buy and if you don't keep paying, you loose the few games you actually did enjoy. Heres the thing, if you re-start your subscription, you get all your stuff back. I want you to keep your eye on PS+ deals (because they can be nice sometimes) Along with the PSN weekly Tuesday update, IGN covers all the deals for you.
What do you guys think about PS+? Have you tried it? Do the games sound appealing to you?
The reason I did not buy it: because I was following IGN's updates for a while to see if it was for me...most of the "free" games your getting are only worth a few bucks and aren't something I would spend time playing. Most not all. So in the end it would be a waste of money for me, especially since I don't care about themes, avatars or demos for games I'd never buy. Not being able to keep games is stupid. Also I have a few friends with it, after I saw a lot of the junk they downloaded I was further convinced into not caring about PS+. Flush it!
And now Cinderkin, the internet explodes.

The police don't have shit on this guy.
Remi Gaillard is a French comedian who takes things to a whole new level. Jimmy dresses up as Mario and suits up a Go-Kart to look just like a MarioKart. But it doesn't stop there. He takes this thing to the streets, grocery store and shopping mall! And to live up to the Mario Kart epicness, he throws bananna peels and toy turtles at cars he is passing in the streets. Ofcourse you can't do these things without the police noticing...check how he handles them in the videos below ;)

Short but sweet.
The game looks just like the promotional YouTube videos, theirs blood and limbs everywhere! The feel of the game runs smoothly and killshots are...basically everything. Doing random shit and getting points and cool names for it is amusing. I found myself getting "Voodo Doll" majority of the time by randomly using the Leash. The leash is a nobrainer really, you can turn the corner, randomly use it homes to nearest opponent. Its charged versions does a AOE gravity thing and everyone flies up in slomo, good shit. In the end, I thought about the full game. I am a multiplayer oriented person and I accepted the fact of no PVP, the game will be extremely fun co-op but...the skill shots are what intrigues you the most and doing cool shit, it might get annoying playing online and getting kill stolen when your trying to pull off something beastly.Got home, downloaded the demo and played it right away. Honestly, I am impressed. The demo is short and a little bit linear, but its full of fun. It's you the chick and the cyborg black dude running around killing stuff. There is a good amount of enemies and the NPC on your team don't really seem to kill steal you during the demo, good shit. You run around this weird planet/spacehip and encounter mutant dudes. 5 weapons are available. The Peacemaker Carbine, Flail Gun, Leash, a minigun you can pick up and fling shot. The Carbine works like you thought it would, pretty bread and butter automatic rifle. It (like every other weapon) has a charge version that basically shoots out a beast shot that guarantees a kill on the enemy. The flail gun is a pistol but in its charge version it is like a Flare Gun and the fling shot wraps around enemies, the charge versions has bombs around it that blow them up.
Basicallly I reviewed the demo like this
Grahpics- top fucking notch, the game runs and looks beautifully.
Gameplay-perfect. Controls are easy and mapped well, after you kill like 2 enemies you got it. Npc's were super dumb, but its a demo, they should be. and they can take a hit, if you have bad aim and spam shots at someone, good chance they will get up, and that I really like.
Demo Presentation- Short but really made me want more. You get a good variety of weapons and a real feel of the game as you run around this...weird broken down world/ship?
In the end, I'm gonna end of buying the game, already had it pre-ordered ;D Buy it!
The demo also had some extra goodies. It shows you your friends scores on a leader board and you can also check the whole leader board but, there were some pre-order bonuses also.
After beating the demo it tells you congrats for beating it, and you unlock Boots and Armor and something different about the Leash for when you buy the full game...that's like half of the pre-order deal (especially for us PS3 users T_T). But all in all it was fun as hell, hope you guys play it too and write about what you thought....unless your playing Dead Space 2, have fun ;)
John Brandon from Fox News is concerned about Bulletstorm and young children, hes also a nubfarm.
The article is pretty long, heres an excerpt below:
"Parents had better beware: There's a Bulletstorm on the horizon.
In the new video game Bulletstorm due February 22, players are rewarded for shooting enemies in the private parts (such as the buttocks). There’s an excess of profanity, of course, including frequent use of F-words. And Bulletstorm is particularly gruesome, with body parts that explode all over the screen. But that's not the worst part. The in-game awards system, called Skill Shots, ties the ugly, graphic violence into explicit sex acts: "topless" means cutting a player in half, while a "gang bang" means killing multiple enemies. And with kids as young as 9 playing such games, the experts FoxNews.com spoke with were nearly universally worried that video game violence may be reaching a fever pitch. “If a younger kid experiences Bulletstorm's explicit language and violence, the damage could be significant,” Dr. Jerry Weichman, a clinical psychologist at the Hoag Neurosciences Institute in Southern California, told FoxNews.com. " source: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/02/08/bulletstorm-worst-game-kids/ (full article)
Yo seriously? Don't they realize kids cant even buy Mature games, its their parents or older sibling that would be feeding them this "ugly, graphic violence into explicit sex acts" It almost seems like every quarter of the year we get super violent games, only difference with Bulletstorm is creativity . And whats this about damage being significant? Later in the article they talk about how these sexual acts in gaming leads to real life rape. Yea maybe if you play RapePlay (don't play it btw). Even further in the article it says " the market is clearly aimed at young children" , how? I'm sure its clearly aimed as Mature audiences. Only good part of the article is that they had a bro from NationalYouthRightAssociation talking about how innovative Bstorm is and mentally unstable people will be fine. What do you guys think? Does Bulletstorms racy dialouge and suggestive themes enough for further BS news coverage (kinda like all the shit over GTA series), or is Fox just ...being Fox? Leave a comment below on what you think.
Possible 5th character makes sense
Ok, So in AE we officially have 4 new characters, yun yang, oni and E.Ryu. Making 39 characters total. People have speculated their would be more characters since when yun and yang were added their was more space, and they were correct. but now their is still a space right next to Ryu's face on the left, and I'm disregarding the space on the bottom right because it's right next to Random Select. Anyways, I'm guessing this character will follow the evil fashion of oni and E. The other two official ones are Violent ken and Dark Sakura. Dark sakura to me seems way less likely because her evil form wasn't very popular or that epic. Also Violent Ken is property of SNKP.
Yet SNKP new president spoke of liscencing shit like "kof sky stage" which is something you would use in another fighting game. Even though the anouncement was recent, who knows how many months or so things have been in planning and kept under wraps. Also another great reason to beleive its a 5th character is that it follows costume pack DLC's. AE has only brought up 4 new characters, yun and Yang already have alt costumes and all alt costume packs are 5 characters. When this is released on home I'm not so sure if they are , breaking that chain. but forever and ever and ever fans have been bitching and whining for " OMG ITS GONNA BE ALEX, HUGO, ROLENTO, ELENA KARIN" and so on.
After TvC I dont think Alex is getting much else, especially since they they did take some chars directly form tvc, buffed them and put them in mvc3, except Alex. Also, the demand for all these 3rd strike characters seem even more ignored to me because 3rd strike ONLINE has been in the works, they are going to want people to buy the shit out of that. also, for a lot of the 3strike characters and 2nd impact and other older sf game characters we havent seen in a while, they WILL be in sf X Tekken, capcom even made a specific anouncement long ago saying " remember this is SF vs tekken, not ssf4, so you will see many returning fighters" also, we have no idea whats in store when the Tekken version is released soooooo, thats where all those characters can go. Yet, it seems risky having them push a THIRD evil/altered character, especially Ken, but his fanbase is massive and people enjoyed his alterations. As far as plausible characters go that arn't evil, I would go with Rolento. not because I am a fan of him, but because capcom does listen sometimes, and people have been begging for that dude for years in so many games, lol.
I really do think theirs a 5th character evening the game out to 40 characters(holy shit), what do you Jimmy's think? Will their be another character or does it end here? Leave a comment and why :D

I must say I hate ultras more than I enjoy them. Simply for the fact that I lose to someone hitting a random ultra when I have a huge lead. I'm not gonna be a hipocrite and say I don't win by ultras but, the ridicullous turn arounds are pretty ridiculous, esepcially when certain characters are better than others with normals and specials, but with easier connecting ultras ontop of that ( ex rufus, ryu, not gonna go into detail) just makes it blaaah. Still, love ssf4, and I could do without the ultras. Would be interesting to have an ultra-free online mode, never gonna happen. (kinda like when you could have meter-less ex grooves in CvS2 ;D)
If someone didn't tell me it was fan-made, I would have thought Sony made it.
TreeFortProduction has uploaded a video that is amazing to say the least, called "Kids". It's a comercial for PS3 gaming involving children and teens being one with the game ; football player, soldier, person who can do flips etc. What makes the comercial so win is the fact that it looks like an official Sony comercial. The TreeFortProduction people did an outstanding job. check it out and leave a comment on what you think about it. Would you have thought of it to be fan-made?

Many people speak of how epic Dark Phoenix is, not many display it...or pull OCV'S in under a minute.
As we all know when Phoenix dies with 5 bar she becomes Dark Phoenix(DP). But many videos involving DP end up with her getting owned, only killing 1-2 people or her vs cpu's T_T Heres a video uploaded by http://www.youtube.com/user/sukijones357 showing her applying very nasty pressure and basically killing them all one by one with 1 combo each. Enjoy the rape.
My Wii will be usable again?!
Honestly I have sold off most of my Wii games and my mom uses it for Netflix while i randomly use it for playing GuiltyGear and Capcom vs Snk2 EO like once a month (and random TvC/brawl) Also I have't been into RPG's in like, years, but this game "The Last Story" seems like good stuff. Developed by Mistwalker, the people who brought you BlueDragon, Lost Oddysey and some other stuff.
Apparently the Release date is Janurary 27,2011 in JAPAN, America's release date isn't set yet. The game is single player AND online multiplayer( chance to use wii-speak besides on The Conduit?) So what do you guys think? I'm interested definately, IF the online play isn't fucked.

Tokido and Daigo Yun play.
More AE video from Air and kim's youtube channel. WE finally get Daigo, people have been raving over seeing his Yun. It is really good, but not as ridiculous as many people thought. What do you guys think of the gameplay?
Air and Kims youtube channel from where the vids are from -http://www.youtube.com/user/SSF4AE
(Also, heres another youtube SSF4AE channel that doesn't get much recognition http://www.youtube.com/user/derrace#g/p)
First is Daigo (Yun) vs Jack (Sagat). At fist it seems Daigo has a tough time getting in, Sagats normals can space well vs Yun, but Daigo gets in some Ume-Upkicks and in the second round, pretty much sniffs outt he Tigger uppercut
Here is Daigos Yun vs Magos Fei. It is a good fight but Fei's BnB's and normals seem too much for Yun, priority wise and damage wise.
Daigo vs Galactis Indian (rose)
And here is Mr.Murderface, Tokido's Yun vs Naruo's Seth. Nothing too special, mainly Tokido showing he is a solid Yun player and lands neccesary combos. In his blog he wrote that he picked up Yun's offense well but he is bad at defense.

Alright dick-tits, Bulletstorm review has arrived!
BULLETSTORM! The highly controversial and gimmicky FPS of early 2011. I took my time on the game knowing it would't last me long. Here we go!
You, Grayson Hunt and your screw crash land on a once awesome resort planet. Well things went bad and you are fighting gnarly mutated enemies. The single player is about 8 hours long, like any basic campaign. They did a great job filling the game with cutscenes that highten the action. The action ofcourse is constantly thrown at you. One explosion after the next, followed by more bad guys, explosions, someone getting called a "dick" and ducking under cover while jimmys suround you. The way the story progresses is on point. As you uncover more of what the hell happened to this planet and how to get off of it, you find different types of enemies, all who tie into the story and have their own objectives and different attributes. The AI is relentless, at times they just nonstop spam fire at you, and also are smart about using cover-fire. Your leash, was meant to grade soldiers on their performance. The more creative you get, the more points you can spend on upgrades and new weapons. The game isn't all on foot either, you get your fair share of transportation. As the story progresses, you can sort of see some things coming, but this suprisingly wasn't a bad thing, everything was still fun. What this game did very well was Boss battles, good ole ridiculous huge monster boss battles and mini-bosses. Biggest complaint is that they have tons of mini bosses, but few real bosses. Without spoiling anything, this game better have a sequal, I was left on the biggest cliffhanger of my life.
GAME MECHANICS AND CONTROLS~
Bulletstorm is all about creativity. You have ridiculous weapons, a boot that kicks people into slow-mo and a leash that carries many possibilities. At first you may feel a bit pressured to getting points and doing skillshots found in the Database, but after a while it's second nature :) Even when you find yourself out of amo , your boot and leash can solve a few problems. Taking cover in this game is simply crouching, which works fine, but you may find a aprt of your body getting nipped somehow. A big problem in control was jumping and climbing. To do this you press X button when near an object. If you are in the middle of battle or trying to run this doesn't always go so smoothly. Running works well int he game and sliding is perfect for getting the hell out when your close to death. Nukem, that being said, good job.
GRAPHICS AND SOUND ~
Magnificent for both! Bulletstorm brings beautiful lush colors a long with dark and grimmey ones in perfect harmony. In the middle of intense battles sometimes you can't help but to notice your in a beautiful garden with amazing scenary....with limbs hanging on the walls. Bulletstorm may not have as much gritty detail as Killzone 3, but I feel the graphics are much better. The sound in Bulletstorm works well. The sound of gunfire is nice and blood gargling when you throat-shot someone are satisfying. The game ofcourse is constantly filled with mahem, but with all the action going on you can still clearly hear yourself speaking and your crew.
ECHO MODE ~
I don't hate it anymore, I just dislike it. Basically Echo takes tons of the epic levels / battles in Campaign and lets you replay them. It is basically Score-Attack and you get it posted on leaderboards. If you aren't into getting high scores it is a fun game-mode to play when your bored, and just want to blow stuff up. The plus side to it is that it features many maps, and you have to unlock most of them , giving you a slight competitive feeling.
This is my favorite part of Bulletstorm. This is up to 4 people co-op play, killing as a team. Each wave has a set amount of points. Your team must kill with skill together and try to maximize your points. Ofcourse as levels progress the enemies get gnarlier, and you get to spend your points on weapons and amo. The stupid part is that they only have THREE levels (6 if you buy the upcoming DLC >_>). But what keeps you playing this mode is the unlocks. You levels up ganing new titles, gun skins, and new skins for all your armor.
Basically Bulletstorm is as follows:
Story- Very likable characters and put together story line. Plenty of action , excitement, ridiculous disalouge and blood.
Game Mechanics and Controls - The boot and leash work well with this FPS. Controls work well, but action buttons for jumping is akward at times.
Graphics and Sound- Awe inspiring. In the misdt of this over the top bloody FPS we have vibrant colors and great lookin levels. Enemies death cries and trash talk are a good touch aswell.
Echo Mode- Isn't anything new, basically a score-attack for single player missions that can be posted on leaderboards.
Anarchy Mode- Co-op side of the game that places you in decent sized arenas. Leveling up allows you to customize your character ; killing in style. Big letdown with few maps.
In the end, Bulletstorm is simply amazing. This game feels like it has the ridiculous enemies, boss battles and weapons of Serious Sam, with the foul mouth of Duke Nukem but also adding its own flare. That being said it is hard NOT to enjoy the game. Unfortunately it doesn't have much replay value. Story -mode is your basic about 8 hour length and the other game modes really don't last you that long.My final verdict is a little hard to deliver because I enjoyed this game SO MUCH! But as a whole, you might aswell
RENT IT! You can get all of your Bulletstorm fun out in a week or 2 depending on how much you play, which is sad because they did an amazing job on this game. The game does heavily hint at a sequel, if there is a sequal let's hope they add LOTS more to this beast game.
