The most powerful Street Fighter characters made appearances throughout many games. Coming down to the Top 6 was down right close. But behold, the most prestige fighters in all of Street Fighter.
Ryu is perhaps the most famous character in the Street Fighter series. His humble beginnings to his uprising in ability to topple the giant champions of the world made him the fighter we all wished to be. The hero of Street Fighter and overall legend, he is known for usually snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

We all know Yun is powerful but just how strong is he? Check out this guide to Yun's tactics for ruining your life in every way possible.
Making his first appearance in the Street Fighter IV series, Yun joins the lineup for Arcade Edition and it’s balance adjustments. Heavily changing the nature of the game with his remarkable rushdown gameplay, Yun’s moves are quick and powerful, overwhelming unaware opponents with a flurry of attacks and, worse yet, precise, demoralizing psychological warfare.
Yun’s offense is mainly based around being a passive-aggressive jerk who seems cool at first but totally turns out to be a giant douche in a stupid hat. This one time, you and Yun were over at Chun-Li’s place just hanging out and playing Monopoly and he totally flipped out for no reason because he landed on Park Place when you had a bunch of hotels and shit on it. He like, slammed the money on the table all hard and knocked over everyone’s drinks—it was crazy.
Defense is a high priority when fighting Yun no matter what character you choose. If given the opportunity, he will make a game out of ruining your life and employ a wide range of techniques to make you wish you’d never talked to him that day when you met standing in line to get an iPad 2. He was getting three of them to resell on eBay so you should've known he was a jerk then.
+ Cool sneaker collection
+ Briefly dated Emma Stone
+ Prom King two years in a row
+ Is Batman
+ Surprisingly good singing voice
- Kind of a jerk when drunk
- Incessantly quotes “Family Guy”
- Never heard “Dark Side of the Moon”
- Claims to be a vegetarian but still eats fish
- Plays music too loudly at night
Zesshou Hohou (Lunge Punch)
Yun’s main special move used to safely approach the opponent from large distances. Yun pretends to be your friend for the duration of the time you’re together but frequently tells mutual friends that you’re an asshole. If you attempt to counter with harsh words of your own, Yun charismatically convinces everyone that you’re just paranoid and freaking out for no reason, further enforcing his original slander.
EX Version: The EX version of Zesshou Hohou lowers the move’s startup and recovery time, allowing Yun to get a date with that girl you like from the coffee shop despite a long-term plan you’d been working on to ask her out. Worse yet, he stops calling her after few dates and jokingly refers to her as “that skank from Starbucks” even though he knows you like her.
Kobokushi (Palm Strike)
Yun’s most damaging special move that, despite being somewhat unsafe on block, is a cornerstone of his arsenal. Yun answers your ad on Craigslist and agrees on $50 to buy your broken Xbox for parts, but suddenly wants to haggle and “only brought $40” when he shows up. By that time, you’ve already taken the ad down and you really need the money so you just take the $40 to get it over with.
The light version is a fake strike that can be used to either cancel into or to bait opponents looking for an opportunity to get in. Yun sends several text messages throughout the day pushing back your appointment without explanation, but not with enough notice for you to really do anything else.
EX Version: Yun calls and cancels twenty minutes after you were finally supposed to meet, claiming to have found a better deal on eBay.
Nishokyaku (Dragon Kicks)
Mainly used to anti-air and reversals, Yun goes on eBay and outbids you for a pair of limited edition Nike SB Dunks at the last second, somehow guessing your exact maximum bid and beating you by only a penny. Each version shows greater disrespect to the collector’s item you hold dear: with the light version ends in Yun throwing away the original box and in the hard version, Yun wears the shoes to the skate park, ruining the leather with creases and scuffs.
EX Version: After receiving the shoes from the shipped, Yun decides he didn’t want them after all and lists them himself with a Buy-it-Now price that’s more than he paid to begin with. He offers to cut you a break on the shipping if you want to bid, but refused to cancel the auction and sell them to you outright because “rules are rules,” whatever that means.
Useful as a combo ender or punish, Tetsuzankou is quite unsafe on block but has some projectile invulnerability, making it a useful tool against zoning characters. Yun volunteers to help move out of your apartment but is ultimately useless. After showing up two hours late, Yun insists that your order pizza immediately “like you said you were gonna” and then explains that he’s a little weak because he pulled something playing golf yesterday. Yun then asks if you have any beer and, after finding none in the fridge, leaves to go to the gas station that’s like a block away and doesn't come back for 45 minutes.
EX Version: While you attempt to pack and move, Yun digs through your stuff, commenting on various objects and unpacking boxes that were ready to go down to the truck. Not only does Yun not help, he actually makes the process take longer than it should because he keeps pointing out people in your yearbook and asking who they are.
Flip Grab (Zenpou Tenshin)
Yun’s command grab is extremely fast and has great range, making it one of the best in the game. Yun notices on Facebook that it’s your birthday and sees that your friends are leaving your messages but deliberately chooses not to leave a birthday message on your wall since he says that Facebook is “over.” The next time he sees you in person, he goes out of his way to explain why he didn’t leave a message but, even in the course of that conversation, never actually says the words “happy birthday, bro.”
EX Version: Featuring an even longer range and faster startup, Yun spends the week before your birthday party loudly telling everyone how he can’t make it because he’s “having some people over” that night too. He outwardly encourages your mutual friends to go to your party, but still focuses on getting the two or three most popular people in the group to come to his. Some friends come to both parties, but you can totally tell they’re just there to say they came and will leave by 10:00 to go to Yun’s thing.
Super and Ultra Moves:
Returning from Thrid Strike, Yun’s Genei Jin is one of his most powerful attacks and a cornerstone of his offense. Upon activation, Yun unleashes a fury of attacks with enhanced juggle capabilities and short recovery, allowing for big combos. There are hundreds of ways to customize this combo, though a popular option finds Yun making you go to that BBQ place you hate, kind of being a jerk to the waitress and then suggesting that you split the check even though he had dinner and like six beers and all you had was a Coke and some fries.
Ultra I – 375
Yun’s more popular Ultra that’s easy to combo into and has a quick startup time. After running into you having lunch with your mom, Yun proceeds to repeatedly make jokes about how your mom is hot and he would be willing to “hit that.” It’s not that big of a deal the first time, but after awhile it’s like, dude, that’s your mom. As usual, when you try to talk to him about it, he just laughs and says you don’t have a sense of humor.
Youhou can be followed up with Zesshou Hohou for a small amount of extra damage, turning your mom’s hotness into a running gag among your friends. It is possible to counter by pointing out that El Fuerte’s mom has an amazing ass but the subject will blow over quickly and everyone will go back to talking about your mom instead.
Ultra II – 425
While useful in less situations that Yun’s Ultra I, Sourai Rengeki has a much better range and can be especially devastating against projectile-heavy characters. After driving you mad with suspicion, Yun finally admits that he has in fact been sleeping with your wife for pretty much this whole time. Also, she knows about the girl at Starbucks.
Upon confronting her with the news, your distraught spouse reveals that she’s been unhappy in the relationship for a long time now and that she and Yun just have a special connection. When the confession inevitably turns into a fight, she makes several unflattering comparisons between your masculinity and his, praising him for introducing her to a sexual maneuver he named “The Wesker Lvl. III”
Drinks the last Coke Zero.
Makes an inappropriate racial remark around your black friend.
That thing where he bumps your fist then makes a noise like it exploded.

Is Yang just as deadly as his brother in SSFIV? Maybe more? Read to find out.
Joining the Street Fighter IV cast with Arcade Edition, Yang may initially seem like a carbon-copy of Yun but has a number of subtle tweaks that differentiate how players should approach him. Unfortunately for his opponents, however, those differences are not all weaknesses and Yang is often just as dangerous in his own way. In fact, Yang is arguably even more problematic than Yun because at least Yun knows he’s a douche.
Yang tries to act all nice so at first you’re like “Yang’s the good twin” but that’s gone in like two seconds after you get to know him. He has this condescending attitude all the time like he knows some big secret of life that the rest of us are too stupid to get. Like, sure, he did read to kids when they opened the new library, but do you really think he would’ve gone if all those cameras weren’t there? And then he ends up going out with that reporter from Channel 6? Whatever, man. He’s in it for himself.
Your instinct may be to let out a sigh of relief when you see Yang on the “vs.” screen instead of Yun, but do not let your guard down or you will come to regret it.
+ Drives a Prius
+ Makes great guacamole
+ Girls actually like that haircut
+ Donates to public radio
+ Conversational in French and Portuguese
- Refuses to watch Friday Night Lights
- Plays a Wolverine/Phoenix team in Marvel
- Prefers Matt Smith to David Tennant
- Rollerblades? Really?
(3x) or (5x)
Tourou Zan (Mantis Slashes)
A series of quick, repeatable maneuvers with effects that vary depending on how many strikes Yang performs. Yang constantly corrects and contradicts every point you make while you’re having a conversation about the direction of recent Marvel Comics films. While these facts don’t tend to change the validity of your overall point, he still makes sure to point out that Sabretooth was originally an Iron Fist villain rather than Wolverine’s just to subtly establish that he knows more about comic books than you and that his opinion is therefore more valuable.
EX Version: After a minor dispute over the importance of continuity gaffs in X-Men: First Class—which Yang liked, for some reason—Yang points out that the Azazel character was not a “weird Nightcrawler ripoff” but is based an the actual character who was revealed to be Nightcrawler’s father (who impregnated his mother, Mystique). This also allows him to point out that Mystique also had a son with Sabretooth so he has en excuse to bring up the Iron Fist thing again.
Yang’s rushing teleport isn’t as useful as some characters’ due to its relatively slow startup and predictable path of travel. Nevertheless, Yang can use this move to escape from being cornered by an unaware opponent, so keep an eye out for it when facing him. If you tell Yang about a band you like, he goes totally “superfan” and downloads every album, then digs up all these old demos and bootlegs and buys tickets to a concert that’s months away and invites you like you needed him to tell you when your own favorite band is playing. Finally, he finishes by posting one of their videos on Facebook and all his friends act like he was the one who discovered them.
Byakko Soushouda (Palm Strike)
One of Yang’s most important moves both for its offensive capability and usefulness is building meter quickly. While sitting around at a party, Yang somehow manages to find some old guitar buried in the back of a closet and then spends twenty minutes putting on a concert on the back porch. You can stay inside if you want to, but the house isn’t that big so you’ll hear it either way. Besides, everyone else thinks it’s sooooo cool and you’ll look like the jerk if you don’t sit and listen to him fumble his way through half of Rubber Soul.
The light version is a fake strike used to bait anxious opponents. Yang acknowledges that it’s “not his party” and turns down requests to play another song. While this is exactly what you want in theory, it only has the effect of making him seem humble and considerate, all the while building anticipation for the Dylan song he intentionally saved for last because it makes him look all deep and mysterious.
EX Version: While not any more powerful, the EX version’s faster startup makes it fairly useful when Yang has the resources available. Shortly after arriving to the party, Yang steers the conversation towards some new song he likes. This, of course, is just an excuse to plug his iPod into the stereo and eventually take over the music entirely with his own playlist, once again making himself the center of attention.
Senkyuutai (Dragon Kicks)
Yang’s uppercut-style move works as a reversal, but it’s forward mobility also gives it the ability to punish projectiles better than most. Okay, so like, whenever you like something that Yang doesn’t like or doesn’t really know about, he does that thing were he finds some reason to turn it into a morality issue that you can’t argue with. The other day, Fei Long was like “ I finally saw Hangover 2, it was pretty funny” and Yang goes “I didn’t see the first one because of Mike Tyson’s involvement—I can’t support a rapist.” Look, obviously no one’s saying rape is cool, he was just talking about a movie that he liked and Tysons’s not even in it that much.
EX Version: Upon hearing you complain about some aspect of your day, Yang dismisses your complaints, insisting that pickles on your sandwich can’t compare to the atrocities that people have to face in Darfur every day. Sometimes it seems like Yang doesn’t even really know anything about Darfur, but you don’t either so you can’t really challenge him on any of it.
Zenpou Tenshin (Flip Grab)
Yang’s command throw does no damage and is highly punishable on whiff, but in return, leaves him in a good position with enough frame advantage to land any number of big combos. Yang suddenly decides one day that he’s a stand-up comedian and sends out a Facebook invite for everyone to come watch him do an open mic at some hipster coffee shop. Yang’s material is all just rant-y political stuff that doesn’t have a real point, but his friends (who now outnumber the normal patrons) clap and cheer anyway because they’re just happy to see their friend on stage. They also all leave in a group after his set, showing no respect to the other performers.
EX Version: Yang schedules his next show on the same night as the play you’re in at the community theatre, claiming to have forgotten about your event. When faced with the option, most of your friends choose to go to Yang’s thing since you’re “really just an extra” and won’t be in much of the actual performance. It’s true that you aren’t heavily featured, but you were an understudy for the lead and worked really hard so you’re proud of it anyway, not that anyone will even know now.
Super and Ultra Moves:
Similar to the infamous Genei Jin, Yang enters an enhanced state for a limited time that super-charges his normal moves and combos. There are a variety of ways to implement this attack, but in the most commonly used version, Yang shows up late with some excuse about his job when you were supposed to go see Transformers 3, meaning that you can’t get good seats for the whole group and have to go see Tree of Life instead (which, conveniently, Yang had been talking about seeing for weeks).
Ultra I – 480
Yang starts a f#@*ing podcast. Seriously. Yeah, he talked about it all the time but it just sounded like more of his “big talk.” Well, he goes out and buys all the equipment and next thing you know, he’s putting links up on his Twitter to download the first episode. Everyone talks about how great it is but you can tell none of them even listened to it because all he does—with co-host Rock Howard and special guest Seung Mina—is talk shit about everyone you know. Fine, he doesn’t use anyone’s real name, but anyone who knows him would know exactly who he’s talking about and some of it gets kinda personal. Besides, everyone knows you were planning to start a podcast months ago.
Ultra II – 440
After having lived there for well over eight months, Yang finally invites everyone to his condo for a get together that he calls a “housewarming” in order to imply that you should bring a gift. This is all the more annoying when, while taking “the tour,” it quickly becomes apparent that Yang already owns everything: designer furniture, fancy kitchen gadgets, high-end electronics, books, art—the works. While you recognize that the entire thing is an obvious excuse for Yang to be all “look how awesome I am,” Yang’s success still stings given that you went to the same school and he didn’t even work as hard. For a split-second, you wonder if Yang really is better than you and the nagging doubt haunts you for the rest of your days.
Retells a story from last week's This American Life
Spills beer on your Yipes shirt
Finds an excuse to talk about his iPhone again
Oni has reached the pinnacle of his power. Gouken has the Power Of Nothingness, able to neutralize offensive energy. It is now time to find out the victor of this fight.
Reader's Note: The following story has a two part fight sequence between Oni and Gouken. You can play the 2 music videos when prompted to in the story. Oni's Theme during the 1st part, and Gouken vs Ryu Theme (my choice for the 2nd part for better effect) for the second.
Birds are chirping, the waterfall flowing below the cliff is soothing. Gouken meditates at it's peak.
A master like no other, Gouken trained 2 of the world's best fighters, Ryu and Ken, as well as Dan who could win fights if all he had to do was use his mouth
Gouken's mind focused, ready, he has senses the monstrosity approaching. In the distance, there are footprints walking through the grass, trees begin to collapse one after another. Gouken remember's his brother in the days when they trained with their master Goutetsu, but Akuma was now no more...Gouken's eyes open as he then turns around to face his most dreaded adversary.
There only 20 feet away, Oni stood with a malicious smile. (Activate Oni Theme video) Oni: Heh heh heh...hahahaha.....AAHAHAHAHA! Your BROTHER has surpassed you, Gouken!" Gouken: YOU, are no longer MY brother demon! You have given up all that has made you human and for THAT I will not hold back!" Oni jumps towards Gouken and comes down with a devastating blow, but Gouken jumps of the cliff over the water fall and towards the distance. Oni follows. Gouken now stands in an open field, free of obstacles. He readies himself.
Oni steps forward (Oni) "I am Oni! And I shall grind beneath my heel....all that exists!"
The fight begins! Oni fires a Gohadoukenl at Gouken!
Gouken prepares to neutralize it....but the fireballs disappears in smoke! It shortly drops Gouken's focus in his confusion and in that moment Oni rushes in with a lighting fast slash! But as a master of defense Gouken barely manages to block it and moves away. Gouken then counters with his own hadouken as he knows Oni's will only disappear after some distance. But Oni then unleashes his Roaring Thunder Hadouken (electric fireball)! The two hadoukens clash, but the electric fireball overwhelms the other and speeds over to Gouken! He dodges the blast and the ground is left destroyed and electrically charged. Oni jumps into the air and comes down on Gouken, but Gouken counters with a Shoryuken!......But within the air Oni floats backwards! Gouken is left punishable! Oni then charges his Gohadouken and fires it full force! Gouken lands and Hurricane Kick floats over the powerful fireball!
Oni speeds forward and unleashes a Shin Shoryuken on Gouken!
Gouken does his best to block it but is thrusted in to the air by the impact! Oni rushes into the air as Gouken is falling. Oni unleashes in the air his Meido Gohado! His most powerful dark fireball!
Gouken lands and looks up! (EXPLOSION!) The ground is destroyed and leaves a crater, the grass is now dirt, and there is a huge cloud of smoke. Oni: "AHAHAHAHAAHAHA! SUCCESS! YOUR TIME...HAS COME!" The smoke begins to clear, Oni awaits to see his victory with a deceased Gouken.
(Activate Gouken vs Ryu Theme music) A shadowy figure stands in the smoke, Oni looks with curiousity. A voice speaks "I know what I must do!" Gouken LIVES! And with the full Power Of Nothingness has ABSORBED the Meido Gohado and added it to his own!!!!! Oni: "Whaat??" Oni's face displays disappointement. Gouken: "ONI! YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN TERRORIZE THIS PLANET!!!" Gouken disappears and appears point blank in front of Oni! Gouken unleashes the full power of his Denjin Hadouken with his new found power!!
Oni is taken by surprise and instant attempt summons another Meido Gohado!!!
(Gouken) DENJIN..(Oni) MEIDO...(Gouken and Oni) HAAADOUUUKEENNN!!!!!!!
The entire area is wiped out. Not a single sign of life in existence for miles. But who survived??? 500 miles away from the blast Oni finds himself in standing, the blast knocked him away from the battlefield. Is Gouken dead? Is he truly rid of his past?? For now he grins triumphantly for either way he now thirsts to find more adversaries to obliterate and should he find Gouken alive, he will finish the fight.
Opposite of the battlefield, 500 miles in the distance, Gouken stands amist the most beautiful waterfall. Unsure of his victory, Gouken remains at peace with himself. Oni has rose to a level of power unlike any other, yet Gouken survived. And that was the lesson Gouken has always taught, to concentrate not on defeating your foe, but on obtaining your own victory. To Gouken, regardless if Oni was destroyed or not, this day he would enjoy peace.
The Satsui No Hado has taken full form. Ryu's life was spared in the battle with Akuma and as a result, has fully engulfed Ryu with it's dark influence. Now all thirsts for is blood and a fight to the death worthy of his new found power.
Reader's Note: The following story can be played with Evil Ryu's Theme video and Gouken vs Ryu Theme video when prompted to.
After the battle with Oni, Gouken has taken some peace in the immediate area and has decided to go into the closest town to observe fighters of today's generation. As we he walks through, he notices the town is mostly empty at first glance. He see's posters plastered everywhere of a wanted man. Upon closer inspection, Gouken is surprised to see Ryu on the posters! Taken over by the dark hado, Gouken decides to stop Ryu from ravaging the town and re-seal the Satsui No Hado. He hears some yelling and screaming in the distance as he approaches the middle of the town. Behind him, he hears a voice, "Master?? Hey! Wait up!" (Gouken) "Ken? What brings you to this town?". Ken catches his breath and explains. (Ken) "Master, it's Ryu! He's in trouble! He fought against Akuma and was struck with the Shun Goku Satsu[Raging Demon]! The finishing blow nearly killed Ryu but in that moment the Satsui No Hado was released and Ryu embraced it's power!" (Gouken) "Hmm...I see." Gouken took a few seconds for thought. Akuma had already given him too much trouble as it was for him to have turned Ryu into a killer, it must have been before his battle with the villian Gouken thought, for Ken seemed to possess no knowledge that Akuma had become Oni. For now however, Gouken needed to focus on bringing Ryu's humanity back. (Gouken) "Ken, listen closely, go to Ryu and tell him a powerful warrior awaits him for a fight to the death." (Ken) "Master?". (Gouken) "He will not be able to resist....now GO!" (Ken) I'm on it!!" Ken takes off to find Ryu, a look of determination is left on Gouken's face. What if he had killed Akuma all those years ago, would he have thwarted all this chaos.....but now was not the time, Gouken took off for the forest.
[Activate Evil Ryu's Theme]
Ken finds Ryu with a civilian being choked and risen off the ground. (Ken) "PUT HIM DOWN RYU!!" The dark warrior slowly looks upon Ken, a devious smile on his face. (Ken) "You a real fight?? There's a more powerful warrior than you waiting in the forest for a fight to the death!!" Evil Ryu looks upon Ken, he's caught his attention. He drops the man, discarding him like common trash. (Evil Ryu) "More powerful you say......heh heh heh ah ha ha ha! I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT! I will kill him as well as you!!!" Evil Ryu fires a dark Hadouken at Ken, but Ken dodges out of the way. Ken takes off through the town, Evil Ryu following closely behind. As Ken is running through the town, destruction is left behind in Evil Ryu's wake as he fires dark fireballs towards Ken. The chase brings them to the entrance edge of the forest. Ken quickly hides in the tress. (Evil Ryu) "WHERE ARE YOU!!?". Ken waits for his master in anticipation. Gouken prepares to step forward. A voice speaks to Evil Ryu, "You disappoint me Ryu." The dark warrior looks towards the shadowy trees, a tall fighter steps from the shadows. (Sagat) "I expected more integrity from you". To Gouken's and Ken's surprise, Sagat has surfaced and is apparently challenging Evil Ryu!!!
(Evil Ryu) "HA HA HA! THIS IS THE POWERFUL WARRIOR!? Tell me Sagat....does it still hurt? DOES THE SCAR I GAVE YOU STILL THRIVE WITH AGONY??". (Sagat) "My scar only reminds me of how far I've come as a warrior. I would think of all people.....you would be the one to understand a fighter's spirit is greater than any pain a punch can inflict. You've given in to the Satsui No Hado, your integrity is lost, your fists will have no honor......BUT I, RYU, WILL HELP YOU TO RECOVER THAT HONOR!" (Evil Ryu) "I CRAVE TO YOU SEE YOU TRY!!". Sagat runs forward to Evil Ryu and attacks with a Tiger Knee! Evil Ryu blocks it and counters with a Hurricane Kick! Sagat blocks the barrages of kicks then grabs the dark warrior to throw him but Evil Ryu counters by headbutting Sagat in the face! Sagat staggers but quickly regains composure! Evil Ryu dashes in and attacks with a right and left hook, Sagat blocks left to right then counters with a thrusting kick to Evil Ryu's chest! Evil Ryu blocks with both arms and the two warriors disband.
(Sagat) "Your fighting prowess has increased, Ryu. But you communicate with anger and hatred. Such lust for power will only be your ultimate downfall." (Evil Ryu) "I COULD NOT EXPECT A WEAKLING LIKE YOU TO UNDERSTAND OR BEGIN TO EVEN COMPREHEND THE POWER I NOW WEILD!.....BUT I WILL KILL YOU AND SHOW YOU FIRST HAND WHAT I CAN DO!" Evil Ryu begins to rush in. Sagat stays focused. He stands and closes his eye. Sagat thinks to himself "Ryu, were it not for you, I would have found myself an immature and selfish fighter, fueled by only the will to win. Now, I see the greatness of becoming a a true fighter, one not only with the goal to surpass his limitations, but with the goal to find an inner peace and joy through the art of communicating with one's fist. Ryu.....I WILL BRING YOU BACK FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME!" Sagat opens his eye right as Evil Ryu descends upon him and Sagat then unleashes his Tiget Cannon! A powerfully focused energy blast!! He fires it point blank on Evil Ryu and a huge explosion erupts from the impact! Clouds of dust and debree cover the area, Sagat seperates himslef from the area and observes the cloud of smoke. Gouken and Ken watch from a distance. An serious look on both of their faces. Ken's eyes show concern for his friend Ryu. The clouds of smoke and debree begin to disappear and a shadowy figure is positioned at it's center. Immense energy begins to be drawn into it's center, dark energy accumilating into sphere begins to glow brightly. Evil Ryu has survived and is ready to counter with his Metsu Hadouken!!! (Sagat) "Damn, not even a scratch..." (Evil Ryu) "AH HA HA HA HA! YOU ARE NOTHING! NOW, HAAA DIEEEE!!!" The powerful energy sphere speeds over to Sagat , Sagat stands as if to face his fate, closes his eye.
[Activate Gouken vs Ryu Theme]
Out from the distance and blinding speed, Gouken appears before Sagat! (Gouken) "Not today!" Gouken uses the Power Of Nothingness to manipulate and transfer it's power to his own, a technique he discoverd in the fight with Oni. (Evil Ryu) "What?" (Gouken) "Ryu."...(Evil Ryu) "Old man....errrr.....ugh.....YOU WILL NOT STAND IN MY WAY!" (Gouken) Ryu, it is not too late to turn your back on this madness. I know you are still in there and I will help you see it." (Evil Ryu) "NO! This hadou......IT GRANTS ME POWER, INCREDIBLE POWER! AND I WILL KILL ANY AND ALL WHO STAND IN MY WAY!!!" Gouken's face displays intent determination to silence the dark hado from his former student. (Gouken) "Sagat, allow me to fight in your stead, I must teach my student one final lesson" Sagat looks at Gouken with a sudden stare of awe....(Sagat) ".....I understand". Gouken knods as Sagat joins Ken on the battlefield's side. (Evil Ryu) " I AM TIRED OF WAITING!" Evil Ryu fires a dark hadouken at Gouken, but Gouken uses his Dashing Palm to bypass and dodge the fireball, striking Evil Ryu in his stomach with great speed! (Evil Ryu) "Ugh! OLD MAN YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THIS FIGHT ALIVE!" Evil Ryu rushes in and begins barrage Gouken with punches and kicks. Gouken blocks and dodges the blows hit per hit. Evil Ryu fakes a right kick and 360's into a lunging right punch! Gouken blocks the blow but the fist spirals throught his arms barely touching his chest! The light touch feels like a bee sting to Gouken. Evil Ryu has developed a fighting style that incorporates a burining sensation upon each hit to maximize pain inflicted on his opponents! Gouken looks at Evil Ryu. A malicious grin on his face. (Evil Ryu) "WHAT'S THE MATTER OLD MAN!!?" Evil Ryu lunges forward again with his left fist but Gouken catches his wrist and directs Evil Ryu's body to his Gouken's left elbow, landing a blow to Evil Ryu's side! (Evil Ryu) "RRRRGGHH I WILL KILL YOU!" Evil Ryu's red aura blazes and the Satsui No Hado begins pouring out of the hole in his chest! Gouken see's the source of it's power and sees the opening to end the fight!
Evil Ryu rushes towards Gouken at blinding speed and Gouken readies himself. Evil Ryu undleashes his Messatsu Goshoryu!!! But Gouken applies an EX Kongoshin, a counter to disable and attack Evil Ryu, stopping his attack full force! Evil Ryu is knocked away spinning in the air. Gouken, with inhuman speed, rushes in to the spinning Evil Ryu. While in Evil Ryu is spinning in mid air, Gouken quickly uses The Power Of Nothingness to seal in the Satsui No Hado, applying multiple key points to act as seals. The act displays almost a dance in magnificence. In the next moment, Evil Ryu crashes to the ground. The red aura disappears. Ken and Sagat walk over to Gouken. (Ken) "Is he...going to be okay?" (Gouken) "Attend to him, he will be fine" Ken rushes over to Ryu, his appearance now back to normal. A scar on his chest of the former gaping whole is visible. Gouken begins to take leave. (Sagat) "Gouken!". Gouken stops but doesn't turn around. (Sagat) "Thank You." Gouken then begins to move forward disappears into distance, a setting sun obscuring his figure. Sagat turns to Ken. (Sagat) "Ken, I will take my leave, but Ryu wakes up, tell him I wish to challenge him when he's at full stregnth." Ken pauses, and then smiles. (Ken) "You got it!" Sagat then leaves. Ryu's eyes begin to open. (Ken) "Ryu!" (Ryu) "What happened..." (Ken) "Ryu.....hahaha! You've been given a second chance man, you've been given a second chance..."

I saw this in my local paper's section on celebrity Halloween costumes. Huge sad face.
Most were celebrities I haven't heard of dressing up as sexy versions of disney cartoons, but then this caught my eye.
If you can't read it, the caption reads:
"Electro pop duo LMFAO arrived as The Hulk and what appears to be a sushi chef at Veuve Clicquot’s Yelloween at Lavo in the Palazzo."
Really? The hulk and a sushi chef? Sushi chefs wear karate gis now? SMH.
Here's the source, so you know I'm not making this up... http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/oct/29/halloween-excuse-really-dress/
Dan from Street Fighter. Hercule from Dragon Ball Z. Who has the biggest mouth? And more importantly, who would win in a fight! XD
Reader's Note: The following fight can be read with the music video included in this story when prompted to activate it. In addition, the video itself is also quite hilarious.
3 scenes take place.
2 aliens from the Dragon Ball Z universe are seen testing out their latest contraption, an interdimensional matter transporter. One gets in his craft and flies out to space. Analyizing inhabited planets he decides to transport himself to different planets without the need of interstellar space travel. He then arrives on Earth.
Hercule is at a press conference declaring himself the most accomplished retired fighter. "Ahahahaha! Ohhhh yeah! I'M THE CHAMP! Noooo one can beat Hercule ahahahaha!". Reporter: Hercule sir, what about those fighters who seemed to be able to fly?? And it seems you are somehow associated with them?" (Hercule) Uhhh those are just some of my friends who graduated from a magic school in France! ;D, yeah that's right one of them married my daughter Videl and she told me how it's just a bunch of parlor tricks and smoke and mirrors". Reporter: "Oh...I see >.>" (Hercule) "Yeah umm....OH! Suddenly my stomach hurts! Oh um we're gonna have to conclude this later, be sure to talk to my agent if you want another interview. Ba bye!" Reporters: "Wait! Hercule!"
Dan is finished putting up the finishing touches on his dojo. (Dan) Ahh yes! Before you know it, this dojo will be swarming with young ambitious students, waiting to call me their sensei! I can see it now, bowing their heads to me and following my every move! Not to mention the ladies that will come swarming when they hear how successful my dojo will be! I'll be the talk of the town! AH HA HA HA HA HO HO!
The alien has been observing planet Earth and decides to talk a walk on it's surface to observe it's beauty. He see's a crowd of people apparently chasing after a man. (Reporters) "Wait Hercule we still have some questions! And your interview is not yet done with us for another half hour!" (Hercule) "I'm sorry but this can't wait no longer! I have to find a bathroom!". The alien stares at the strange man with the fro as he runs towards him.......runs towards him? The alien tries to run away but Hercule crashes into the alien and hits the interdimensional device and causes it to malfunction! Suddenly a flash of of light blazes out and Hercule and the alien disappear! (Reporter) "Oh no, where did he go. It must be one of the tricks his son in law taught him!"
Dan is laughing away, looking at his big sign on his dojo. He turns around to walk and hits head! (Dan) "Ow!! Ahh errr, hey! Watch where you're going! Hercule massaging the bump on his forehead looks up. (Hercule) "Uhh sorry.....um hey! Where are we? And what is that thing!" Hercule points at the alien. He moves closer to look at him...(Hercule) Hey, are you the one that got me away from those reporters? Haha thanks a lot! The paparazzi sure can be trouble at times." (Dan) "Paparazzi?" (Hercule) "Hm? Yeah, you know reporters." (Dan) "Are you famous or something?". (Hercule)[dramatic music is heard] "........ .......... ........OHHHHHH YEEEAAH! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I'M HERCULE! THE WORLD'S GREATEST RETIRED FIGHTER! If you don't know about me you've been living under a rock!"
(Dan) Really...well I've never heard of you! I at least have my own dojo as you can see. And this place will soon be swarming with students, all in line to learn from ME! DAN THE MAN! I'm sure you've seen the flyers?" (Hercule) "Flyers? I haven't seen anything, all I know is I crashed into this little alien dude and winded up here. And besides this dojo is small, I've got a whole gym where fighters practice my techniques all the time. Yep, I even have a whole city named after me!" (Dan) A whole city? HA! You don't look like much to me, though your mustache is decently masculent. (Hercule) "Yeah? Well its TRUE. And you can stick that in your pony tail. (Dan) "HEY! My pony tail displays that even a MAN can have great hair, something you wouldn't know about with your 70's fro!" (Hercule) "Oh yeah!?" (Dan) "YEAH!" The two exchange angry sparks while face to face.
(Hercule) "That does it! There's only one way to settle this, we're both fighters so put em' up!" (Dan) I thought you'd never ask! But I should warn you, I am skilled in the art of Hadou. (Hercule) You can call your style whatever you want, but my world championship belt says it all!"
[Activate Music Video]
Hercule and Dan walk outside to an open area. They take their stances. They stare at each other as if a cowboy show down from the old West. Then suddenly, simultaneously they yell and attack. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" The two square off immediately, matching blow for blow! Dan short jumps for a barrage of kicks, but Hercule blocks each one! Hercule then counters with 5 hit combo but Dan is able to dodge and block the last hit! They break off and seperate. (Dan) "Alright it's time to show you what I can do!" (Hercule) "Bring it on!". Dan focuses his energy and prepares to fire a hadouken! Hercule noticing the gathering of energy begins to worry. (Hercule Thinking) "Oh no, not another one of these smoke and mirrors freaks! I don't really have a defense for energy based attacks except to run! But I can't just back down. I gotta think of something......wait a minute I got it!". Hercule reaches into his pocket in searches for some pepper spray. But instead he finds the present bombs he had when he was first fighting Majin Buu. (Hercule Thinking) "Well I don't want to kill him! But maybe I can set it and make it go off near him and escape in all the smoke. Ahahaha I'm a genius!". Suddenly Dan fires the hadouken! Hercule's eyes light up! He's out of time! The hadouken travels a few feet.....but disappears. -.-' They both stare at each other disappointed. (Hercule) "Ahahahaha is that all you got!?" (Dan) "HEY! It's not as easy as you think! >.<". (Hercule) "Why don't you just call it quits and go back to your dojo!" (Dan) "I'm not done yet!"
The two dash towards each other, but suddenly Hercule stops. (Hercule) "Wait! You know what? I don't want really fight you, yeah sure I just want to be friends, in fact I left you a present over there" (Dan) "Whaaa?" (Hercule) "Yeah Hercule is that kind of cool guy, oooohhhhh yeeeaaah hahahaha. SO, I'll just let you look at your present now.." (Dan)"...............Hmm.......". Dan sees the shiny present 15 feet away. Hercule sneaks away behind a deserted car. Dan begins to walk over to the present. Hercule doesn't want to kill him, but distract him. Dan is approaching and now 7 feet away. Hercule smiles "YOU'RE TOAST!" He hits the detonator and an explosion erupts, causing a whole mess of debree to scatter. Dan is blown into the air. (Dan) "Aaaaaaaaaaggghhhhhh!". (Hercule) "Now's my chance! Time to finish this!". Hercule rushes over to the injured Dan. (Dan) "Wait!! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" (Hercule) "Uhh what?" Dan bows on his knees. (Dan) "Yeah I didn't mean it, can't you see I'm hurt?" (Hercule) "Uhh here let me help you up then." Dan smiles, and then suddenly comes up with Koryuken! (Dan's version of a Shoryuken), knocking Hercule into the sky. Hercule hits the ground. (Hercule) "Hey that was a dirty trick!" (Dan) "Look who's talking you could have killed me!" (Hercule) "I was only gonna scare ya a little." (Dan) "Liar!". (Hercule) "I'll show my Super Megaton Punch!" (Dan) It's no match for my pure awesomeness and dashing smile!". They both run at each other and swing, hitting each other at the same time in each other's faces.......... The alien that came with Hercule walks up upon the fight, only to see Dan and Hercule both knocked out. The alien has a "you've got to be kidding me" look on his face.
The alien then drags Hercule a few feet away and examines his interdimensional matter transporter. It seems a piece was knocked loose. He re-inserts it and the device lights up. It is now fully operational. The alien then activates the device and holds on to Hercule, the two are then transported back to their dimension. The alien searches Hercules clothes for some thing to tell him more about Hercule. He activates an analytical translator and decipher's Hercule's address from his driver's liscense found in his wallet. A dashing pose in the picture. The alien transports Hercule to his home, leaving him on his bed and then departs to his ship to go home. Dan wakes up where he was knocked out.....(Dan) "Ughhhh, what happened? Did I.....did I win??" He stands up and looks around. (Dan) "Damn, he got away. If I see him again I'll make sure to finish him off! Ugh! I better get back to the dojo, my new students won't teach themselves!". Hercule wakes up to find himself in his bed. (Hercule) Errr.....huh??? H-how did I get here?? Hmm, maybe it was that alien! Yeah that must be it. That Dan guy was sure a sneaky devil, kind of reminds me of someone but....I can't think who. Hmm, well what do I do now? Ahh! I better call my agent, and see what's next on the agenda. I can't disappoint my fans after all. Ahahahahaha!"

$14.99 or 1200 MSP
Here's the official video (you may have seen this last week before it was pulled).
After the initial Alpha test, Capcom introduced more changes for the Beta which is now in location testing. Here's a (long) list of all the changes they made in between.
[Hadouken]: Damage has been increased from 60->70. Chip damage remains the same at 15.
[H. Shoryuken]: Changed to be a 1 hit move, from the previous 2 hits. Start up is 3F. A deep hit (from active 1F to 2F) deals 160 damage, a shallow hit (from active 3F and up) deals 60 damage. First 4F from startup are invincible. Also [H.Shoryuken] cannot be EX Focus Canceled anymore, regardless of hit or block, so the risk and reward has been increased.
[cr.HK]: Startup changed from 7F->8F. So [far LP] -> [far MP] -> [cr.HK] combo string will no longer work.
[far HK]: Startup changed from 12F->11F, recovery from 21F->18F. On hit it now gives +1F, and on block -3F.
[Thunder Kick] (f+HK): Entire frame length of the feint version shortened from 27F->24F.
[EX Hyakuretsukyaku]: Distance the move covers until hit detection has been increased. Tough combos should be easier to connect with now.
[close HP]: Causes additional 1F guard stun on opponent. Push back distance from a hit has been decreased by about half. So [close HP] -> [H. Spinning Bird Kick] combo is now possible (290 damage, 400 stun).
[H. Spinning Bird Kick]: Damage and stun adjusted to 200.
[Tenkukyaku] (MK during Kintekishu): Hit box enlarged downwards so it is easier to hit crouching opponents.
[H. Hundred Hand Slap]: Hit box towards the end has been increased, allowing for easier full combo hits off a [cr.LP].
[EX Oicho Throw]: Stun damage increased from 100->150.
[Orochi Breaker]: Command has been simplified so it will be easier to use from now on.
[EX Vertical Roll]: Now causes knockdown on hit. However on block, Blanka will now land even closer to the opponent so the risk is greater.
[far HP]: Deals knockdown damage on hit.
[Flash Kick]: Deep hit now deals an additional +10 damage across the board: light 110, medium 130, heavy 140 damage.
[Sonic Hurricane]: Damage distribution has been changed from the existing 150+15*4+90 to 90+30*4+90. Total damage has not changed, but [Flash Kick] -> [Sonic Hurricane] combo now does an additional 50 damage or so.
[Reverse Spin Kick]: Causes additional 1F of hit stun, leading to a total of +5F on hit.
[LP]: Causes additional 1F of hit stun, leading to a total of +2F on hit. So [LP] -> [EX Yoga Flame] combo now works.
[Yoga Blast]: On hit, light and medium version recovery has been reduced by 10F, heavy version recovery has been reduced by 5F.
[Dirty Bull]: Command has been simplified so it will be easier to use from now on.
[Bloody High Claw]: Hit properties have been adjusted. For example, the Ultra will now combo properly after a [Cosmic Heel] (df+HK).
[EX Sky High Claw]: Hit box has been enlarged downwards, making it easier to connect the whole thing.
[cr.MP]: Hit box has been enlarged towards Sagat’s base, fixing a problem that caused it to whiff against certain crouching opponents.
[HK]: Damage from a shallow hit increased from 80->90.
[Air Burning Kick]: Damage reduced from 100->90.
[Big Bang Typhoon]: Adjusted move properties so that opponents won’t drop out early after an air hit.
[Target Combo]: Hit box of the 2nd hit has been enlarged downwards, making it easier to hit crouching opponents.
[EX Galactic Tornado]: Opponents who are hit by the suction part of the move now gain an additional 7F of stun. It will consume a lot of meter, but by performing an [EX Focus Cancel] afterwards, Rufus will now be at a maximum +8F. This will allow for new combo opportunities.
[EX Guacamole Leg Throw]: El Fuerte’s stun after landing has been reduced by 3F, making it 10F total.
[Breathless]: Removed throw invincibility from the lunge to hit detection period. It still has throw invincibility from startup to lunge period.
[Shoryuken]: Excluding the EX version, when the 2nd hit is blocked, opponent guard stun has been reduced by 2F. Seth is now -3F when doing [Shoryuken (2nd hit blocked)] -> [EX Focus Cancel] -> [Forward Dash].
No additional changes since the “SSFIV AE Ver.2012 Alpha” location test.
[Sakotsukudaki] (f+MP): Hit box enlarged downwards, active frames changed to 4F. Hit stop and guard stop time has been changed from medium attack length to heavy attack length. Hittable area has been reduced, making it easier to dodge crouching attacks.
[Forbidden Shoryuken]: Startup greatly reduced from 11F->3F, which makes it easier to combo and counterattack with.
[far MP]: Deals additional 1F of hit stun, and is now special/super cancelable. Thus [far MP] -> [M. Senkugoshoha] combo is now possible.
[far HP]: Active hit frames changed from 3F->5F.
[close HK]: Active hit frames of first part changed from 2F->5F.
[Denjin Hadouken]: Lever rotations needed to speed up the move have been reduced.
[Quick Spin Knuckle]: Push back distance on block has been reduced, and follow ups from Cammy such as [cr.LK], etc, are now considered to be a true block string.
[Engekishu] (f+HK): 2nd hit is now super cancelable; however total move damage has been decreased from 150->130.
[Sakura Otoshi]: Changed difficulty of command input, and adjusted it so that the move will not come out from button releases.
[EX Soul Reflect]: Move is invincible to projectiles until frame 7, and shot reflection occurs from frame 5. This makes it easier to instantly reflect projectiles.
[Soul Satellite]: Fixed a glitch that caused the EX version to come out when doing the command input and holding up-left on the controller.
[EX Jyasen]: Opponent stun is +1F if the hit right before the last hit connects. Thus [FADC] afterwards gives Gen a max +8F.
[Lv1 Focus Attack]: Properties have been changed based on which stance Gen is in.
• [Mantis Style]: Forward dash after a hit gives even frames to both players.
• [Crane Style]: Forward dash after a block gives even frames to both players.
[EX Oga]: Damage increased from 100->150. Variation of the move [Far Kick] during EX is now faster, and a hit allows for further combo opportunities.
[Crane Style cr.MK]: Now +1F on hit, -1F on block. Hittable area has been reduced.
No additional changes since the “SSFIV AE Ver.2012 Alpha” location test.
[EX Condor Dive]: On hit, the move retains projectile invincibility until end of recovery.
[Heavy Shoulder] (d+MP): Can now be done from a vertical jump.
[Condor Spire]: Simplified command has been changed back to what it is in the current SSFIV AE.
[Raging Slash]: Command has been simplified further, so it is easier to execute now.
[close HK]: If the first hit connects it forces the opponent to stand, and the 2nd hit is now super cancelable. Move is now -2F on block.
[Wall Jump]: Can now attack earlier after the initial jump off the wall.
[Bushin Hasoken]: Hit box on the last part is enlarged, making it easier to connect the full Super Combo.
[Bushin Muso Renge]: Command has been simplified further, so it is easier to execute now.
No additional changes since the “SSFIV AE Ver.2012 Alpha” location test.
[Bonsho Kick]: Push back distance after hit has been reduced, and on counter-hit it is easier to follow up with combos.
[Yoroitoshi]: Command has been simplified further, so it is easier to execute now.
No additional changes since the “SSFIV AE Ver.2012 Alpha” location test.
[Jet Upper]: Startup of light and medium versions changed from 6F to 5F, heavy version changed from 4F to 3F.
[Short Swing Blow]: On hit, medium and heavy versions do additional 2F of hit stun, giving Dudley +2F total.
[Ducking Upper]: Startup changed back to what it is in existing SSFIV AE.
[cr.MK]: Startup changed from 10F->8F and active frames lengthened from 5F->6F, making it a better poking tool.
[Rolling Thunder]: First hit will not connect against airborne opponents, but from 2nd hit onwards there is additional hit detection against airborne opponents.
[Jaguar Kick]: Hittable area of light and medium versions has been enlarged. Hittable area of heavy version remains the same, but damage has been reduced from 140->130.
[close MK]: Properties have been changed back to what it is in existing SSFIV AE.
No additional changes since the “SSFIV AE Ver.2012 Alpha” location test.
[Senpusha]: Hit stun has been adjusted so [FADC] after light version gives +6F on the first hit, +3F on the second. Medium and heavy versions gives +6F for either hit, and EX gives +3F on first hit and +8F on second hit.
[close MP]: Startup changed from 5F->3F, making it easier to connect combos up close.
[Zenpo Tenshin]: Startup of light, medium, heavy versions changed from 11F->10F.
[LK]: Block stun increased by 1F, giving total +2 on block.
[Target Combo 3]: 2nd hit is now super cancelable.

[Air Raging Demon]: Modified so that it will only hit airborne opponents, and can be used in combos. Damage has been reduced from 370->320. Normal [Raging Demon] is still a throw.
[M. Demon Slash]: Active projectile invincibility frames increased from 16F->19F.
Arcade Edition is out and everyone has chosen their character. This explains why I decided to stick with Akuma but make Oni my main.
We all waited anxiously for Arcade Edition only just yesterday night. I myself caught the wind late about the east coast getting the download until 5am and was expecting to just come out until 12am xD I basically just went to sleep. But some hours later I woke up at 8am (mainly because I was too excited to sleep) and made the download. My brother who mainly plays with me was up, took his shower, and was ready to play and test out Evil Ryu. We went to VS mode and then Training. We immediately noticed the incredible fun of playing with Oni and Evil Ryu. My brother who was used to playing Ryu suddenly felt more like he was more powerful because he pull out 3 hit red fireball without having to Ex it. He was able to narrowly dodge a devastating Ultra when he teleported out of the way.THIS was the Ryu he was hoping for, a powerfully epic looking Ryu that could do things like Akuma, his dreaded adversary that I kept using haha
But soon my brother disovered he would need a defense that would rival his offense Evil Ryu clearly had far less health than Ryu. It was at that point that I was beginning to the enjoy the extra health that Oni had as compared to Akuma. Having played Akuma for so long, mastering the Vortex and agressively chasing down opponents while watching my health all the time was sometimes stressful. I wanted to play smart but I also wanted to just get in and wreak havoc and to a degree, Oni's extra health allows me to do it. Along the fact that both Oni and Evil sound and look like epic gods, their unique move sets make them fun as hell! I was immeditely in tuned to Oni from that point on. Now, it's true that Yun and Yang are respectively powerful characters themselves, as there will most like likely be a lot of Fei Longs and Yuns at tournaments, but I what I want to do is not be another player that uses a hight tier character for the sake of winning, I did that once a long time ago with Sagat in vanilla (was fun by the way xD). No, I want to the player known as the Oni player! I've always had a high affinity for suggested powerfully characters in games and animes, but with video games and their balances those characters are not always represented to be as strong as the story suggests. Therefore, I'm taking Oni to the top. That is my goal as tourny player, no matter the hardship, it is my achievement to unlock.
As such, to really be an Oni player, I've decided to mack out in the fashion. Fight stick, t-shirt with Oni's Raging Demon symbol on the back, etc. Here is the theme song of Oni.
Here is a video of a decent Oni player, one I plan to surpass. While the end of the video is not to my liking, the first 85% of the video shows just how EPIC Oni can be. And when I go to CEO and EVO in the upcoming years, I want to hear in the crowd "GAAAAADAAAMN ONI IS GODLIKE" That would make my dream come true :)
