Atlus is dropping Persona onto the PSP in America on Sept. 22
So if you're an RPG gamer, you might know a little something about the Shin Megami Tensei games. Made by Atlus, these games are rare and obscure - almost mythological - on the Western side of the world due to their low print numbers and tremendous price inflation. It's not exactly new for Atlus to reprint their out-of-print games (this has been done in the last year with both Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, both for the Playstation 2). However, the original Revelations: Persona is far and above the most looked-for game in the Shin Megami Tensei lineup, and it's second only to Tactics Ogre in the entire Atlus collection. It wouldn't be at all uncommon for a complete copy of the original PSX hit to sell for over $100, sometimes going as high as $150. So imagine the shock when Atlus announced that they would be porting their second-hand hit to the PSP, placing the game back on store shelves and selling it at a $40 price tag. Further more, Atlus is also going to be putting the game up on the Playstation Network for $40. Now the game that was once considered impossible to find is going to be in regular print and available at any local Gamestop/EB Games.
The PSP version is going to contain a completely relocalized script, a new (or redesigned) user interface, new musical tracks in the soundtrack, balance adjustments, all-new animation sequences by the animator of Devil May Cry 3, and new voice overs. In addition to all that, the retail version (as opposed to the PSN version) will contain the entire game's two-disk soundtrack. In traditional Atlus fashion, however, the soundtrack will only be included for a limited time.
The game is launching on both in retail and on the PSN simultaneously on September 22.
A quick review of Shadow Complex for the XBox 360 Arcade
This game reminds me so much of Super Metroid (SNES), it's unreal. Get it? Cause it's made with the Unreal engine... eh... tough crowd.
Anyway, for 1200 MS points (that's 15 bucks, American) you will get about 5-8 hours of story mode game play the first time through. More towards 8 if you strive for 100% completion. You will almost certainly want to play through a second time (either to see what you missed or to try to beat it with under 13% of the items for an achievement).
There are a ton of hidden rooms and power ups that will keep you searching every nook and cranny for hours. If you do happen to grab every power up, you will feel like an invincible badass (because you will be, practically). Truly, every powerup is extremely satisfying and they come at a rapid pace.
There are also several challenge maps (again with an achievement for beating them all) that allow you to pit your best times up against your friends (or the XBL community at large).
If you have an Xbox 360 and a gold membership and a spare 1200 points, there is no better way to spend those points right now. (Especially if you loved Super Metroid or Castlevania).

If you haven't played this game yet, this is one of the best games of all time and for 60 bucks you get everything. I swear you'll have a great time with this game Jimmy!
Immediately reminds me of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra?!
WTF am I saying. I’m saying the truth! Ok maybe it’s the other way around since Marvel Alliance 1. G.I. Joe probably tried to copy Marvel Alliance. Regardless, there already seems to be way more thought and depth to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. MAU2 is a beat‘em up style with RPG elements The game overall kind of reminds me of Gauntlet or TMNT.
I just beat the first boss, Electro. Whipped his ass easily. I set the game difficulty on hard, there is a hardest mode, but it’s locked.
Uh-oh moral decisions … Why can’t I just pound the shit out Jimmys and be done with? The choices I first had were not clear if they were good or bad. One told me I was diplomatic and the other said I was defensive. Hmm, I’ll have to figure out which one is the most evil as I go on.
What’s wrong with Gambit’s face Jimmy? His nose is huge and well, he just looks really fucked up. That’s one of the worst character models. Let’s see if he pwns.
Gambit seems to be weak at the moment, but I’ll level him up. Juggernaut rails though forget it! Juggernaut and Gambit team up to do a fusion technique. Juggernaut pulls a huge chunk of the earth or floor up, Gambit throws a bunch of charge cards into and then Juggernaut slams it into the enemies. Totally awesome!
Now I’m starting to get the dungeon crawler feel. I like it. This game is fun so far and I will continue to play it. I’ll let you know how I feel about the entire game when I beat it.
Wake up pwnfest! Wednesday September 16th 2009!!!
Achievements baby! I'm still working on 100% for Batman Arkham Asylum, Battlefield 1943, and Shadow Complex. I'm certain I'll mix in some Halo 3, Gotta be ready for Pwntober 3. I've been wanting to start a new adventure and I think it will be Infinite Undiscovery today, a Sqaure-Enix game for the Xbox 360 that's about year old I guess. I've always wanted to play it.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2! I just picked this up yesterday and I haven't got to play it yet. I will start with this game.
Don't forget ... Wednesday night fight! Street Fighter IV starts at 10pm EST. Don't be a Jimmy! Catch a Ha Dou Ken to the grill!
Man of Ponage is getting railed right now Jimmy!

Fuckin' a!!! I'm going!
C'mon ... I'm not gonna miss this. This is great for Miami and I will definitely support it. 3 days of tournaments and games and Jimmys with fight sticks. Infinite Bits is going to feature an interactive video game museum. Classic arcade machines will be available. Panels with industry experts. (Am I hosting a panel? It'd have to be 18+ and over with an open bar). Live music from video game bands. A costume contest for the super video game nerds. Stand-up comics and live shows.
I can not wait for this. I hope it does very well and this is the first of many to come.
Visit their website and sign up for a 3-day pass your frickin' noob!
Easy to do!
I got a text message when it was in the store and picked it up with just my ID.
You don't have to pay for until you pick it up the, when you do it online it only does a $5.00 Dollar hold on your Debit/CC. This totally saves you a trip to EBGames or Gamestop to JUST pre-order a game.
Don't be a Jimmy!
Pre-order Halo 3: ODST from your home and pick up in the store!
Would you kindly buy Bioshock for only $5 on direct2drive right now?
If you've never played Bioshock, and you own a PC, you owe it to yourself to hit up direct2drive right f'n now, Jimmy! 5 bucks gets you copy of one of the best games ever to hit the market.
There's a bunch of other games on sale there too, but Bioshock is undoubtedly the cream of the crop.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition is no longer listed on the website and not available to pre-order in the store.
When I picked up my Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 I engaged in the regular video game banter with the clerk. Seeing what he knew and or what was good. He kinda mumbled something about the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition no longer available for pre-order. I said what? That game doesn't come out for two months, I never heard this story. I read the frickin' news everyday!
So I immediately grabbed the closet iphone and went on the website. Sure enough you can't find it on their website. So I went to the Best Buy website and they had it listed. Drove over to the Best Buy in person ... grabbed the pre-order box and took up to the counter and pointed to prestige pre-order on the back and told the girl I want that one rite dere! At this point my reciept says Prestige, so I will take that. We'll see what happens down the road.
For those of you Jimmys that want the Prestige order I suggest you get your head out of your ass and find out wtf is going on in your neighborhood.
BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM
What up the orginal Jimmy here with my first ever blog so if you like it cool and if you don't fuck you her goes, with Batman: Arkham Asylum holy $hit finally I've haven't play a good Batman game since the super nintendo days. I mean the story is awesome the graffics are cool dame that Poison Ivy $hit now thats hot. And the important part of the game that really made it good the gameplay. I've always wanted to do things like Batman and this game gives it to you. Hidding on top of gargoyls waiting for guys to snath up and hang, putting them to sleep because Batman doesn't kill. He'll in the game react differently depending on the situation. I'm really looking forward to part 2. So if you are still having second guesess don't this is a must especially for you Batman fans you can order though us via these links in our website. That all I got for now I'll post another when I can peace.
