Almost 2 hours of non-stop videos and only a few highlights. It's still hard to find a reason for Xbox.

Halo: Infinite was announced at the beginning of the show but nothing was really revealed about the game. Speculation, please.  Here is the trailer that was shown.

There was a Fallout 76 Trailer presented by Todd Howard. The trailer did not reveal anything about the game.  It looks amazing, I guess they did mention that the map was 4 times the size of Fallout 4.

We were reassured that Crackdown 3 is still coming out with a new trailer of Terry Crews screaming and yelling.  It didn’t look that good.  Forza Horizon, it’s cars, it’s bullshit.  No interest in this at all.  Devil May Cry 5 showed off some of the combat which made up for the not so great graphics I was seeing.

It really doesn't matter that no more than a cut scene was shown at E3, I'm in!

Unfortunately, no new gameplay here.  And I’m afraid we have some bad news.  Now it’s possible some version of Halo Infinite will be on Xbox One, but Microsoft needs to sell that new console.  This is definitely an Xbox Scarlett game and I’m not sure if we will get to see any Halo Infinite actual gameplay until next E3.  Until then, here’s a little teaser.

Halo will always have a special place in my heart.  Here’s to a great game and an old feeling!  Let’s Go!!!

2019 Gaming Was All About Shootin'em In The Face!!!

I’ve played some great games in 2019, but I’ve also played some shit ones. I’m still not sure if we are seeing NEW stuff in video games other than Death Stranding. I didn’t play Death Stranding, but I did watch a lot of people play it all the way through. Kojima has not ever really been my shit you know. Borderlands 3 is great and is one of my favorite games from this year. After playing through all of the other Borderlands games in 2019, I didn’t see much new video game innovation. Plus this is the first Borderlands game where I didn’t like any of the 4 vault hunters. Still, I think it is one of the best games of this year. GrrrtyGirl and I had the best time ever playing through all of the Borderlands.

What do you guys think about the Halo Infinite content/DLC Road Map?

Thinking about writing a story about my lack of interest in Halo Infinite recently is sad for me. I loved it when it first came out, loved the shooting and the movement. It just got boring so fast. There was that 2 month period where Big Team Battle didn't even work. I didn’t even play the last Samurai armor event. I’m missing my antlers damn it! Now we have news of the season 2 update. Unfortunately it's just going to be 2 new maps. 1 for big team and 1 for arena. I'm baffled that it's only 1 for each. Is there's not a team just for making maps. Plus with such a rich history of fan favorites from the past, why are there 0 retro maps in Halo Infinite. Doesn't really sound like the Infinite possibilities I thought were possible.

In May with the Halo Infinite Season 2 launch we will get 2 new maps. 1 for arena battles and 1 for big team battles. Let’s take a look.

Prepare YOURSELF!

There is no video of me. There is only video of the new Halo. Behold.

This is not what I was expecting at all. Just a few minutes of actual gameplay and what they showed was not good at all. I don’t want to bitch, I definitely don’t want to bitch, but there was nothing, nothing in that trailer that had me in awe. No cool explosions like the Ratchet and Clank, no innovative new matchmaking or battle royal/big team battle gameplay mode. Just 117 shooting some grunts, elites, and brutes. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I been on the list since Halo 3.

I’ve played multiple Halo betas and tests. I’m ready for the Infinite. I need the Infinite bad. Will Halo Infinite finally hit the nostalgic feeling that I can’t barely feel anymore from Halo 2 or Halo 3 days? Recently Grrrty and I have been playing through the MCC and it’s great. What I really need is a new multiplayer. Big Team Battle! What about you? Are you ready?

Tell me what you like most about Halo Infinite.

Here’s our first look at the new maps coming to Halo Infinite online multiplayer. That’s right folks, only 2 maps. We've been waiting 6 months for 2 maps. 1 large scale map for BTB and 1 small map for arena battle. Something about all of this makes me think that they are holding back. I believe they have more than just 2 maps ready, but they are camping us.

My biggest complaint here is that it seems just copying old maps would be easy. Yeah, you’d have to scale them to work in Infinite, but why not? There’s tons of Halo maps from the history of the game that should be part of this. Why are there only 4 maps after 6 months for BTB. Why not 10, 15? I don’t understand why there are not more options. Why keep us confined to such a small selection. It’s also hard to see the scale of either map. Obviously the arena map shows a closed area, but the BTB map should have had some vehicles moving around so we could get the depth and scale of what to expect.

I’m not trying to be a hater, but I’m just having a hard time. I can already see these new maps get dropped and we’re playing the old maps more with this new patch. If 3 BTB maps were coming right now, then there could be a balance, but I already know how it’s going to go. I’ll see you in season 2! Coming soon…

How was the stability? The first two days it was bad. It was bad because Grrrty and I sit side-by-side when we game and we are both ethernet connected directly to our Xbox One X’s. The game itself runs fine on Xbox One X btw. We could not stay together for more than 1-2 games on the first two days. By the third day, it was working pretty well. Long ass load screens. Maybe that’s because I was playing Xbox One X or maybe not.

What were my settings? I switched to inverted. I raised the look sensitivity by 1. I didn’t change the FOV or make any other changes to the default settings. Shit, I still don’t understand what down on the dpad does. Some sort of beacon pops off your Spartan, but I wasn’t using it effectively for anything while actually in a gunfight or hunting down other players. Google it.

What was that trailer they showed us last year? Pretend it never happened.

The good news is, this trailer is nothing like the video they showed us last year. What we have here is pure excitement for the next installment in the Halo franchise. Watch the Brute charge full speed at you and the Master Chief just pop him in the grill with the butt of his gun. A new Elite hunter, who just has the hots for killing Spartans. He looks incredible! The over world map shows options for the Master Chief to attack and not just remain on the same path you find in a typical storyline. Something different, something interesting. Back to do whatever I can to land a few more Xbox Series X for me and the homies.
