Favor and Fault Quest Act III Jeven Rogue Hard Boss Fight
Jeven is a rogue Jimmy, he will disapear and then reapear and stab you in the back causing massive damage. The first thing you need to do when the fight starts is move your party our of that death pit. Get to the highest level and then bottle neck whatever comes in your direction. Jeven will come. When he does, just run around in a circle with who ever has hate from him as long as possible. That's right, just run around in a circle. That's the secret here.

Dragon Age 2 is a Glitch Fest indeed, but I still love it. These videos are from a second play-through. Female Hawke Blood Mage FTW. The later I got in the game, the more it started to freak out.
Dragon Age 2 Hawke Mage Slow Down, Health Bar Glitch & Hold Position Trick
Pretty serious title I know. I wanted to get to the point.
The Hawke mage slow down is exactly that. When this first started to happen in the game, I thought I had done something wrong. Wrong equipment, wrong weapon, maybe somebody cast slow on me. Turns out this is a common thing among Hawke Mages in Dragon Age II.
The Health Bar Glitch seems to happen when your character is raised or is drinking a potion at the time of death. You can see in the video, Aveline just taking a pounding and her health constantly refreshing. At the very end of the video you can see it happen with Hawke as well. (Also with Varric in this Dragon Age II Montage.)
The Hold Position Trick is constantly keeping your party as far back as possible so if invisible walls are tripped, they can stay protected behind them. Like fighting the two Pride Demons in the video. Of course one of your party members has to be in there with the monsters. In another clip you see something strange with Anders. He's on one side of a doorway you can't get through. On the other side are 30 Jimmys and Aveline crackin' them over the head with a club. Brilliant stuff.

Dragon Age II may be the best experience in front of your television since Red Dead Redemption. This streamlined sequel keeps you in the action constantly. No two play-throughs are alike, but let me tell you about mine. Tips, glitches and broken quests.
Dragon Age II is a different game for everybody. So much will depend on which class you pick at the beginning of the game. So if you pick a knight, then expect to get up front hacking and slashing away at the baddies. If you pick a mage, expect to die a lot. If you pick the rogue, it's either going to be slashing enemies with daggers or sitting back shooting off arrows of fire into a crowd. My point is, don't say it's a hack and slash. There is just as much strategy involved here. Don't pick the knight.
My character was a Rogue Archer and I was going to focus on being a dick. Gettin' paid for quests and killing whoever/whatever got in my way. I had a lot of lesbian sex. Well because I was a female Hawke. Female Shepard FTW! There is an option to import your saved game from Dragon Age Origins, but I nubbed that up and deleted all the info a while back. In DA2 though, I don't understand where any of that would be relevant. There are a couple of references from DAO and you run into Alistair at one point. But Anders and Alistair act like they don't even remember each other, that was weird.
The graphics are amazing. A lot more detail has been put in and the game no longer looks like a PC game on the Xbox or PS3, it looks like a Xbox or PS3 game. There are some absolutely incredible boss fights. The Ancient Rock Wraith is one of the boss fights in the game. (I don't want to be a spoiler.) Be ready for this fight: *Pro-tip - The little Jimmys that protect the Wraith will kill you faster than the Wraith himself. Check out this video. *Spoiler Alert.

Playing Dragon Age type games, like Mass Effect or KOTOR always leads to some shenanigans. I love this genre, because I love fuckin' with every possibility. I recorded a bunch of different clips from mostly the first act. I hope you enjoy it.
0:05 Female Hawke getting drunk.
0:41 Perfectly Calm.
1:22 The Hard One with Isabela.
1:34 Experience the deep story ... (Actual goukijones play style)
2:05 Just strange.
2:18 All girl team. What's up with Merrill?
2:30 Giant dead spider.
2:35 Fuck you, pay me.
2:44 Don't be a Varric! (Do not bring this Jimmy into important fights. He is a nub.)
3:05 Health bar glitch. (Again for the record: Don't be a Varric! Bianca my ass. Pausing the game seemed to get me out of the glitch. Varric must have been drinking a potion when he got knocked down and it never reset.)
4:11 End game raip. (This is all about how my team was wreckin' shop on some regular nuabs omw to fight the bosses. That's right I said bosses, the game is BadAssNice.)
5:00 Fenris takes a friendly fire Bursting Arrow to the chest. Hilarious. I didn't even know friendly fire was possible that way.
And now I would like to present to you ...
My Dragon Age II Montage.
This video is my third fight with the High Dragon. Every time I type High Dragon, I chuckle a little. Maxed fire resistance, couple of potions and solid team work raips the High Dragon in Dragon Age II.
The High Dragon lol. I didn't expect much of a fight from the "High Dragon" but, this guy was not laid back at all. In fact, the High Dragon should have been called the Crack Dragon, because this Jimmy is carazy! The second fight ended in a glitchy disaster with Varric, you can see video of that in my Dragon Age II Montage. The thrid time, I did a final sweep through all of the shops for any gear that might give me an advantage, but the trick was with the Enchantments. I put Fire Resistant Enchantments on every piece of armor I could, doubling up on a few. Fire Resistance +2100x2 = Raip. As you can see in the video, my squad take absolutely ZERO fire damage. Well Fenris takes a fire ball to the grill at one point, but that only takes off 9 points.Read full story...

Play on facebook get real bonuses
Dragon Age 2 wants to see you on Facebook. If you play the Dragon Age Legends game you can earn some bonus rings for your characters.
You can get a ring for + 18 attack and 3% physical damage just for going through the castle building tutorial.
How about an amulet for +10 health and +1 armor
So far they are showing 5 items you can get. Is it worth your time? Don't be a Jimmy.
Drop your pants and bend over, it'll save you some time..
People were already complaining about the dumbing down of the game, but it gets worse.
How do you feel about it being around 40 hours of gameplay? And that includes the side quests.
Your interaction with allies doesn't take away quests if your an ass, you just get different bonuses.
You won't be roaming the open world much, Kirkwall will be the setting for most of the story.
You don't level up skills, you get the as you increase your stats, there are abilitys and spells you can pick, but stuff like lockpicking depends on other stats now.
You can't put new armor on your team. They can use rings or belts for bonuses, but the gear you pick up will be for your main character.
And the PC version will get the same stuff, people thought that the PC version was safe.
Source GameInformer.com http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2011/03/04/10-things-you-should-know-about-dragon-age-ii.aspx?PostPageIndex=1 you can see them try to put a positive spin on the game before it even hits.
But with only 40 hours of game play I'm going to say rent it. Beat it and take it back or wait for the price to drop. And I hate to say that, I was really looking forward to the game at first.
How could Bioware really do this to us? REALLY?
This game was awful. Its visuals have improved from the first installment but the deep, strategic RPG elements that I loved from the first one have been replaced by a hack n slash set-up to cater to the masses that need a quicker delivered satisfaction. I will say that I have only played the demo on xbox and I couldnt even play the xbox version of Origins so I'm hoping that they kept the pc version intact as much as possible. My fingers are crossed and Bioware better know that if it fails in this aspect, I, along with many gamers I'm sure, will spend my time slaying Dragons in Skyrim rather than returning to the aftermath of the Blight.
I don't know exactly how to categorize this. I had to research what a Felicia Day is. I know ... I'm a Jimmy.
From YouTube: Felicia Day stars in Dragon Age Redemption, coming out summer 2011.
