About: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (x)

Great, more snakes.

So how's the Tiny Tina’s been going for you? You hype about this new DLC? Not really sure about what’s going on in this trailer. A new deep dive dungeon made out of ice? More of the same 5 bad guys? Snake ladies, land sharks, shrooms, skeletons, and some bloaty flying things. Personally I think I’ve made myself sick of the TTW and this DLC isn’t appearing to be the content I was looking for.

Part of the TTW Season Pass.

Seems a little quick, not more than a month before the game is even out. The MIRRORS OF MYSTERY DLC will be released on April 20, 2022. You may think this is early, but DLC 2 may not come for 3 or 4 months after this. We’ll more than likely have a huge patch with that DLC up, on or around the same date. Gearbox has together with their release patterns, it’s worked like this for a decade for them. We’re so excited about the new TTW, it’s just the same as getting Borderlands 4 for me. With TTW though, we’ll leave out the world of Pandora and experience whatever this is that Randy Picthford and crew have dreamed up. I can’t wait.

“I’m gonna get somewhere dark and damp quick!” - Goblin quote.

In this trailer you will get to see more gameplay from the Spellshot and Clawbringer classes. Gear will be explained and how to level up. Also noted here is that gear is more on your level or higher than previous Gearbox games. Gold will also have greater value than money has in previous games. There’s a small preview of the overworld. You’ll be walking around a large tabletop-style map, finding quests, dungeons, and tons of secrets. There’s a big boss fight at the end and some random roll dice along the way. No spoilers. Watch the video.

I mean, I already knew there were going to be multiple options for character builds. Duh.

Here’s my list so far:

  1. Stabbomancer
  2. Brr-Zerker
  3. Clawbringer
  4. Spellshot
  5. Spore Warden
  6. Graveborn

You are the Fatemaker. Similar to being called the Vault Hunter or VH for short. As far as these 6 confirmed classes, I really think you’re going to be able to build your character via gear and not necessarily pick a job at the beginning of the game. Don’t quote me on that, I don’t actually know how any of it works quite yet. Check out the lastest character trailer from Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Now that all 4 classes have been revealed, which tickles your fancy?

I refuse to tank in this game. Are there tanks? Last time I picked the guy with the giant ax I ended up being in charge of parties and raids and I had no clue what I was doing. I just want to damage deal. So maybe the character with all the spells. I’ll go completely outta my wheelhouse and do ranged magic. I don’t even know what I’m talking about here, this is a Borderlands game, shoot and dodge and you will live. There are no strats!

How will you decide your Fatemaker?

We get more of a peak at the combat and characters in the game. In some shots I’m wondering if there are more than 4 main characters. You guys let me know what you think. Maybe you can just design your character and everything you do in-game defines your playstyle. Not really Gearbox’s style, but maybe they are trying something new.

Buy it again for the first time!

Here I will tell you my chain of events with this trailer today. I see it, at first I’m uncertain of what it is until I see Roland and realize it’s the DLC from Borderalnds 2. There’s not a price in sight. So I’m thinking, maybe it’s a pre-order bonus for the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. I downloaded the game and I don’t see anything. So I go back to the YouTube and track down the link to ‘Get Assault on Dragon Keep’ and it takes me to a page where I find the price. FREE on Epic Games. $9.99 everywhere else. This is absolutely my favorite DLC for any Borderlands game and it is totally worth the price. Especially if you have not played it yet. Have fun!

Very interesting so far…

Only 2 classes are revealed in this trailer. One is a stealth-style with a huge double-sided blade. The art of sneak. The other is an ice warrior. Wielding a giant ice axe, this character can jump forward to an enemy. They can also spin around swinging the axe in an iced frenzy. Before you asked me to rank them, I would say Stabbomancer #1, Brr-Zerker #2. We’ll have more Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands reports coming soon!

It’s not Borderlands 4, but it is.

We are getting Ork Avatars in a Borderlands game!😲 Well excuse me it’s not exactly a Borderlands game. There’s magic spells, melee, huge open worlds and guns! Just like in Borderlands. It’s not Borderlands though. Butt Stallion! Red chest full of loot that goes CHA-CHING when you get an orange, just like in Borderlands. Ok you get the picture. Coming March 25, 2022 Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will have 3 different versions at launch.

Get hype! It's going to be a new style of Borderlands games. Please look forward to it.

Announced at the 2021 Gamefest the game is currently scheduled to be released early 2022. Not exactly Borderlands, but fans of Borderlands will find things to love with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Just look at the trailer, it'll be just what we need, when we need something like a new Borderlands.
